OPPO’s A83 is a mid-range smartphone with A.I. Beauty Selfie camera. It features a 5.7” HD+ Full-Screen display with a unibody design. Powered by 2.5GHz octa-core processor performance with GB RAM, 32GB storage and 3180mAh battery priced just right.
On the other hand, the Zenfone Max Plus features Full HD+ 5.7-inch full-view display with ultrawide 18:9 aspect ratio, has a dual rear-camera system with 16-megapixel PixelMaster main camera with a wide, f/2.0 aperture lens and a phase-detection autofocus (PDAF) system.
In terms of battery, the Zenfone Max Plus offers better battery capacity at 4,130mAh battery. But based on PCMark’s battery test OPPO A83 has better battery life result it lasted more than 12 hours, while the Zenfone Max Plus got only more than 8 hours during the test.
In terms of processing power both are powered by MediaTek, OPPO A83 sports 2.5GHz 64-bit Helio P23 while Zenfone Max Plus has 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6750T Octa-core CPU both are capable processor, in terms of gaming, the A83 got the upper hand since it can run heavy graphics games better.
For extra security, Zenfone Max Plus is better since it has fingerprint scanner at the back, which lacks on OPPO A3, but both supports face unlock features.
The OPPOA83 is more affordable, its priced at only Php9,990 compared to Zenfone Max Plus price of Php11,995. Noe that’s Php2,005 savings.
Here’s the rundown, The Zenfone Max plus got the advantage when it comes to display resolution, more RAM, good battery life and a capable CPU for gaming and for your other daily needs. It also has a fingerprint scanner for additional security and can be used to charge other devices via its reverse charge features.
The OPPO A3 is already good on paper and its much better on an actual live device. It has better camera sensor and camera app, better battery life, nice easy to use UI without too much bloatware, nice design, and more affordable. It can be your mobile gaming device since it has the processing power for it.
Overall we choose OPPO A83 because of its advantage on camera, battery, processing power and price.
