MyPhone! just released another affordable Android smartphone, the MyPhone My36 powered by Octa-core 1.3 GHz MediaTek MT6753 Processor and 3GB RAM with an affordable price of P6,999 only. It’s a perfect gift this Christmas, I got a chance to unbox and have a first impression of the new MyPhone My36.
MyPhone! is one of the well-known local phone brands that make affordable smartphones and now they just introduced their My series of affordable and Octa-core powered Android smartphone, their latest is My36.

Unboxing MyPhone My36
My36 packages comes with standard accessories, Once you opened the box you are presented with the My36 encased in plastic.
The My36 comes with USB power adapter, USB cable, standard in-earphones, My36 manual, and warranty card. There’s also a FREE commemorative watch that includes a nice note, so take the time to read it.
MyPhone My36 First Impressions
MyPhone My36 looks a lot similar to My35, and I’ve been using the latter for weeks now, and I love the form factor, the build is sturdy and I love the metal curved sides.
The My36 comes with 5.2 Inch Full HD IPS display (1920 x 1080 resolution), this means that this phone screen is much better compared to My35 which have 5-inch HD display, so for sure will My36 screen will consume a lot more power.

My36 have a sleek metal rounded frame just like My35, volume rocker and the power button is at the right side. At the bottom is where the micro USB connector and microphone.

The back cover of My36 is faux leather like and can be removed, but the battery is non-removable with 2900 mAh capacity.
It also features 2.5D curved glass panel and no capacitive keys
In terms of connectivity, My36 supports Dual-SIM (micro SIM) with LTE, 3G connectivity. It supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS (for Geo Location).

For the camera, the My36have 13MP Samsung sensor that feature Phase-Detection Auto-Focus (according to WIKIPEDIA: tunable optical element to focus automatically). While the front camera, which is the selfie camera comes with 5MP with Fixed focus feature, it also comes with flash, now taking selfies in low light places is not a problem anymore.
Well! it looks like I will be switching my main phone with the new My36. Now I’m a fan again of MyPhone, with the My36 the design is simple and elegant, the Philippine map at the back is a nice touch. My36 is not just for good looks, it is also a powerful device running on Android 5.1 powered by 1.3 GHz 64 Bit MT6753 Octa-core processor and 3GB of RAM.
