ABIZO OFW App - OFW Global Monitoring Pilot Project of POEA

Thanks to the new ABIZO OFW app backed by the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA). OFW families in the Philippines can rest easy this holiday season knowing their loved ones are safe.

The ABIZO OFW app provides families with peace of mind by addressing the government's long-standing demand to monitor overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) in real-time utilizing mobile and social networking technology.

The app allows OFWs to send emergency alerts, report incidents, update contact information, and participate in surveys that help government agencies including the POEA, DOLE, POLO, OWWA, and DFA to provide timely responses to OFW concerns.

The ABIZO OFW platform provides an integrated call center service for emergency response that can help OFWs find solutions. The ABIZO OFW app helps OFWs and their families feel safe and protected, especially during the Holiday season.

It also features a Pilot Red Button, with a single tap on the smartphone app, the Pilot Red Button simulates the communication process of a help request. This simulation is designed to help manage and support OFWs working in hazardous conditions outside the Philippines.

Through our convenient mobile platform linked to the POEA, OFWs and their families can worry less, especially this holiday season, knowing that help and assistance are just one tap away,” says Angelo Antonio Buendia, Chairman of Advanced Abilities, which has partnered with Galileo Software Services, Inc. to develop the ABIZO OFW app.

The ABIZO OFW App is free to download via Google Play and App Store.
