LG Electronics New Lineup of Premium Soundbar

LG Electronics (LG) recently unveiled a new line of audio equipment with high performance, unique and stylish designs, and exciting new sound experiences for home cinema, music, and gaming.

LG's outstanding audio lineup is led by the premium LG Soundbar (model S95QR), which delivers 810W and 9.1.5 channels of full surround sound immersion. Five up-firing channels – three on the soundbar and two in the separate rear speakers – boost clarity and widen the soundstage for the ultimate in realism.

The LG Soundbar's center up-firing speaker delivers clearer dialogue and makes Dolby Atmos and DTS:X entertainment even more immersive. In addition, suitable content with IMAX Enhanced offers superb three-dimensional audio.


The LG S95QR has several major improvements, most notably improved speaker drivers, speaker chambers, and subwoofer performance. The bigger woofers give excellent audio quality with deep, powerful bass simulating theater sound. In 2022, LG increased the number of wireless back speakers from four to six, with four front/side drivers joining the two up-firing drivers.

The LG Soundbar's rear speakers are designed to deliver music equally across a wide 135-degree space, allowing customers additional speaker placement and angle freedom, which is especially useful in smaller rooms.

The soundbar has a more sensitive receiver, allowing it to be farther away from the subwoofer and rear speakers without compromising sound quality.

The LG S95QR's improved wireless connection minimizes audio lags and dips for distraction-free watching and listening. In Music Mode, the soundbar can up-mix two-channel audio to 7.1-channels for more authentic acoustic surround sound.

LG Soundbar has variable refresh rate (VRR) and auto low latency mode (ALLM), making it a must-have for console gamers who require precise sync between onscreen action and audio. LG's soundbar supports high-quality music streaming services, making listening to personal playlists and favorite artists even more enjoyable.

The LG S95QR also works well with Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, and other AI helpers. Owners of smart devices may easily control streaming music, adjust volume and change sound settings using only their voice. Enjoy lossless multi-channel audio without having to run an ugly cable to the TV with the LG WOWCAST Wi-Fi audio adapter.

When connected to a compatible LG TV, LG Soundbar uses the TV's sophisticated AI Sound Pro technology to enhance the sound quality of all content. Owners of LG TVs can manage both the TV and the soundbar with the same remote. In addition, the model S95QR's AI Room Calibration technology analyzes the room's proportions to offer more precise low-frequency music that is calibrated to perfection.

With a smaller carbon footprint throughout the product lifecycle, LG Soundbars are designed to be more environmentally friendly in 2022. The new soundbar models use a novel composite fiber material that is lower in weight and reduces carbon emissions during shipment and transit. LG Soundbar products also conserve energy while use due to their low power consumption.
