RMC Grand Finals: Team BTK beats Team Sibol

RMC Season 6 Grand Finals

realme Philippines just concluded the 6th Season of its most star-studded realme Mobile Legends Cup (RMC) Grand Finals on June 5 at the SMX Convention Center, with Team BTK defeating Team Sibol in a surprise turn of events.

Last Sunday, spectators were on the edge of their seats as they waited to see if SEA Games gold medalist Team Sibol would face M3 World Championship bronze medalist Team BTK in 2022's most anticipated showdown. The social media conflict between the two teams was the topic of conversation in the days leading up to the event, as BTK's team captain "MobaZane" had earlier challenged Team PH during one of his livestreams, with Team Sibol responding by issuing an ultimatum to face BTK in the RMC Grand Finals. To everyone's astonishment, Team USA showed up intent on winning!

Team Sibol got off to a strong start, scoring the first victory by eliminating three BTK members. Team BTK drew the score (1-1) in the second round, courtesy of Ichiji, a Filipino player, who managed to kill while being cornered by Team Sibol. Team Sibol regained their footing in the third round, eliminating Team USA's tanks one by one. Team BTK showed unbreakable in the fourth round when they released the heroes "Thamuz" and "Julian" for their counter-attacks, eventually stopping Team Sibol's "Estes" and tying the score at 2-2. In the end, Team BTK's triumph over the SEA Games gold medalist Team Sibol was a surprise to everyone.

In addition to the heated showdown between the two teams, realme appears to have gently hinted to a new addition to their photography-focused 9 series lineup. The realme PH team later announced that the brand-new realme 9 will be launching.
