Infinix NOTE Edge Launched With Dimensity 7100 and New XOS 16

Infinix has officially introduced the Infinix NOTE Edge, expanding its NOTE series with a smartphone focused on balanced performance, modern design, and long battery life. Branded as the “King of Edge,” the NOTE Edge is aimed at users who want a smooth daily experience with up-to-date hardware, without pushing into flagship territory.

The NOTE Edge is the world’s first smartphone powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 5G platform, paired with XOS 16, Infinix’s new Android 16-based operating system. Together, they reflect a more coordinated approach to hardware and software in the mid-range category.

Dimensity 7100 Focuses on Real-World 5G and Stable Performance
At its core, the Infinix NOTE Edge runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7100, built on a 6nm process. The octa-core chipset combines Cortex-A78 and Cortex-A55 cores with a Mali-G610 GPU, designed to deliver steady performance while maintaining power efficiency. For gaming, the NOTE Edge supports up to 90 FPS in titles like Honor of Kings, while PUBG: Battlegrounds runs at 60 FPS, maintaining smooth visuals and stable frame rates during longer sessions.

1.5K 3D-Curved AMOLED Display Built for Comfort
The NOTE Edge features a 6.78-inch 3D-curved AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution (1208 × 2644) and a 93.4 percent screen-to-body ratio. It supports adaptive refresh rates of 60Hz, 90Hz, and 120Hz, allowing smoother scrolling while helping manage power use.

Big Battery in a Slim and Lightweight Body
Despite packing a 6500mAh battery, the Infinix NOTE Edge keeps a slim profile at just 7.2mm thick. Weight varies by color, with the Silk Green model at 185g, while Shadow Black and Stellar Blue come in at 190g.

The phone supports up to 45W fast charging, along with 10W reverse charging, allowing it to power accessories or other devices when needed. Combined with system-level power optimizations, the NOTE Edge is designed to handle long days of gaming, streaming, and multitasking without frequent charging.

XOS 16 Brings a Cleaner Look and Smarter Interactions
Running on XOS 16 powered by Android 16, the NOTE Edge introduces a refreshed interface that feels lighter and more responsive. Glow Space lighting effects add subtle motion to icons and animations, while semi-transparent UI elements with a frosted-glass look give the system a more refined appearance.

New 3D spatial wallpapers add depth by layering the clock, icons, and background. Touch response has also been improved, with animations closely synced to user input for smoother scrolling and more natural interactions. XOS 16 also introduces One-Tap Infinix AI, designed to simplify daily tasks, along with Live Photo sharing, including support for transferring Live Photos to iPhone while preserving motion and sound.

Camera for Everyday Photos and Short Clips
The Infinix NOTE Edge is equipped with a 50MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture, supported by Infinix’s first Live Photo mode, which captures short moments with motion and audio.

On the front, a 13MP camera handles selfies and video calls. Video recording goes up to 2K at 30fps, with slow-motion capture at 720p 120fps. Multiple shooting modes are available, including Super Night, Portrait, Vlog, Dual Video, AIGC Portrait, and Pro mode.

Long-Term Software Support and Launch Promo

Infinix is committing to 3 years of OS updates and 5 years of security patches for the NOTE Edge, adding long-term value for users who plan to keep their phone for several years.
