Because of the Pandemic, meetings, and conferences switch to virtual which is now the new normal. When doing video meetings it's a must to have a good speakerphone, and the Jabra Speak 710 is a premium portable speakerphone.

Jabra is a global audio brand and they have one of the best headphones in the market. They also have speakerphones under the Speak Series which include the Jabra Speak 710 a premium portable speakerphone.

We got a chance to try the Jabra Speak 710 portable speakerphone which is a great device when doing Zoom meetings. So here's our hands-on experience with this cool speakerphone.

Design
The Speak 710 comes in really nice mostly metallic material with premium built. The base is plastic with rubberized bottom to keep it steady when placed on the table. It's lightweight weighing only 298g.

There's a 90cm USB cable attached to the speakerphone that wraps around the inner part of the body, it's used to charge the speaker and also can be used to use as a wired speakerphone on your laptop.

At the bottom, there's a Jabra Link 370 USB adapter, and a kick-stand that is hidden underneath the base.

Features
This speakerphone has cool capacitive invisible controls, it lights up when the power button is pressed, it's easy to use, and it only needs a light touch to activate.

This speakerphone features an Omnidirectional microphone and HD voice, which is quite impressive when we used it during our Zoom meeting and it can cover up to 16 people in the room.

For connectivity, it has Bluetooth 4.2 for wireless connection and a standard USB cable for use on laptops or desktops, and it's plug and play so no need to install any other software to use it on your PC. It supports Windows, Mac OS, Android, and iOS platforms.

The Speak 710 can also be used to speak with MS Cortana, Google, or Siri and use the Smart button to launch this virtual assistant.

Voice Quality
The Speak 710 packs a 10 Watt output power, and a 150 Hz to 20 kHz frequency range. In terms of sound quality, this speakerphone has solid sound output, and the voice quality is far better compared to other speakerphones.

We've been using this speakerphone for a week now during our online event, and meeting, and even as a speaker while listening to our favorite tracks on Spotify. We can say it really has the superior audio quality and even the other party can clearly hear our voice during the meeting and with its Omni-directional microphone provides 360-degree coverage and picks up sounds from any angle.

Battery
The Speak 710 packs a 500 mA battery, which is good for up to 15 hours which is not bad considering how compact this speakerphone is. Charging the battery is a bit slow it takes about 3 hours to fully charge the battery.

Verdict
The Jabra 710 is an amazing speakerphone, it's well designed and fits well on a conference table. It works great on both PC and mobile on a wireless or wired connection. The sound quality is superb and it has long battery life, but charging is slow. It's not a cheap speakerphone, and not really for home use, but if you have the budget and want a nice quality speakerphone that you can use for your online meetings/conference you might want to check out the Jabra 710 Portable Speakerphone.
