Xiaomi Mi TV P1 Series and Xiaomi Pad 5 Launched in the Philippines


Xiaomi debuted its latest smart TV series, the Mi TV P1 Series, with four different screen sizes of 55", 50", 43", and 32" as well as a new tablet, the Xiaomi Pad 5, in the Philippines.

The 55”, 50” and 43” variants come with 4K UHD resolution and Dolby Vision support. The larger 55”, and 50” variants further enhance visuals with HDR10+, which allows the TVs to generate a high dynamic range and make the picture even more vivid and life-like. It also offers MEMC technology, enabling the TV to reproduce a smooth and lag-free picture.

The Mi TV features a bezel-free display with a slim, elegant design. Its 60Hz LED panel provides an ultra-wide 178° field of vision, allowing you to see the screen clearly. It is powered by the Android TV operating system, which comes pre-loaded with popular apps such as Netflix, Prime Video, and YouTube. With Chromecast and Miracast, you can seamlessly project content and games from your smartphones or tablets. With built-in Google Assistant, the Mi TV P1 series is perfect for voice-activated users' smart homes. The 55", 50", and 43" models all include an inbuilt microphone on the panel, allowing users to control the TV and any connected smart appliances totally hands-free.

The Xiaomi Pad 5 is a tablet that features a WQHD+ 120Hz display, quad stereo speakers, and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 Chipset. It's a productivity tool for both work or the classroom, but doubles as a premium mobile entertainment device.

Xiaomi Pad 5 features an 11-inch WQHD+ 120Hz display with support for Dolby Vision, with its HDR viewing experience bringing ultra-vivid imagery with incredible brightness, contrast, detail, and colors.

Enjoy stereo sound with large quad speakers that offer a louder, and crisper sound with its Dolby Atmos immersive audio for the ultimate sound experience.

The Xiaomi Pad 5 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 chipset with a max clock speed of up to 2.96Ghz and comes with an 8,720mAh battery capacity.

For a natural writing experience, Xiaomi Smart Pen comes with only 12.2g, with 4096 pressure sensitivity and 240Hz touch sampling rate. It also includes Smart Pen function keys to quickly jot down notes, take screenshots, or easily switch between pen and eraser.

For cameras, this tablet packs a 13-megapixel single camera at the back with an 8-megapixel front camera, which supports 1080p video.

Pricing and Availability
The Mi TV P1 Series 55’’, 50’’, 43’’, and 32’’ is priced at ₱24,990, ₱22,990, ₱18,990, and ₱10,990 respectively. It will be available starting September 30, 2021.

The Mi TV P1 Series can also be availed at a special early bird price with freebies from September 30 until October 1, 2021. Those who will buy the 32” and 43” variants will get a free Redmi soundbar for ₱8,990 and ₱16,990 respectively. A Mi Soundbar for the 50” and 55” variants will serve as freebies with price cuts at ₱20,990 and ₱22,990, respectively. These offers will be available exclusively on Xiaomi Authorized Stores and in Xiaomi's official stores on Shopee and Lazada.

The Xiaomi Pad 5 6GB + 128GB is priced at ₱17,990, while the 6GB + 256GB model is priced at ₱19,990. On September 24, 2021, a limited early bird price of ₱14,990 will be available together with a free Xiaomi Smart Pen for the 6GB + 128GB variant only on Xiaomi Official Global Store via Lazada. Starting October 1, 2021, the Xiaomi Pad 5 will be available at Xiaomi Authorized Stores.
