TECNO has officially launched the CAMON Slim 5G, a new smartphone that combines an ultra-thin design with a large battery, 5G connectivity, a high-refresh-rate AMOLED display, and a camera system focused on low-light photography.
Measuring just 6.39mm thick and weighing 190 grams, the CAMON Slim 5G is designed to offer a slim and lightweight profile without making major compromises on battery capacity. It comes in several art-inspired finishes, including Neo Mondrian, Gossamer White, Matisse Black, Rebel Pink, Van Gogh Blue, and Burgundy Red.
Display and Cameras
The phone features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution of 2644 × 1208 and a 144Hz refresh rate. TECNO also includes wet-touch features designed to keep the screen responsive when used with wet or oily hands and during rainy conditions.
For photography, the CAMON Slim 5G has a 50MP main camera using a 1/1.56-inch sensor with OIS, paired with an 8MP ultra-wide camera with autofocus. A 32MP front camera handles selfies and video calls.
The main camera supports TECNO’s Ultra-Night photography features and AI-powered tools, including Super-Zoom FlashSnap for capturing fast-moving subjects. Portrait shooting also offers multiple focal-length options.
Performance and Battery
Power comes from the MediaTek Dimensity 7300e 5G processor, paired with 8GB RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of storage. Extended RAM can add up to 16GB, allowing up to 24GB of combined RAM.
The phone runs HiOS 16 and supports 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS, FM, USB Type-C, and OTG. Audio is handled by dual speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
One of its highlights is the 6,000mAh 5-Year Durability Battery, which is packed into the slim chassis. It supports 45W Super Charge.
Durability and Software Support
Despite its thin body, the CAMON Slim 5G comes with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K protection, along with MIL-STD-810 certification. TECNO also highlights its durability testing and long-term performance certification.
On the software side, TECNO promises three major OS upgrades and five years of security updates. The phone also includes a range of AI features for productivity, photography, recording, scheduling, and other everyday tasks.

Price and Availability
The TECNO CAMON Slim 5G is expected to arrive in the Philippines at around ₱24,000 to ₱27,000, based on regional pricing conversions. This is an estimated range and not yet the official Philippine price.
TECNO has yet to announce the official Philippine launch date and local pricing. Given the brand’s history of bringing its midrange smartphones to the country soon after international launches, more details are expected in the coming weeks.
