realme GT 2 Pro Powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Announced!

realme has announced that it would be one of the first companies to launch a smartphone powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 mobile platform at the Qualcomm Snapdragon Tech Summit Digital 2021.

The Chipset will make its debut in realme's flagship GT lineup with the release of the realme GT 2 Pro, the series' first Pro product, and the brand's most premium flagship offering.

During the event, Chase Xu, vice president of realme, stated in his video speech that Qualcomm Technologies has always been a critical collaborator. Xu noted that with the realme GT 2 Pro's development beginning just a few months ago, realme is determined to produce a true high-end flagship product that would meet the expectations of young users worldwide.

The realme has worked with Qualcomm Technologies since its start to provide dozens of high-quality, powerful smartphones to global consumers. realme was one of the first manufacturers to use Qualcomm's Snapdragon 888 and 870G 5G mobile platforms in 2021 with the realme GT Master Edition Explorer 5G with Snapdragon 870 and the realme GT with Snapdragon 888 is well-known globally.

With its incredible performance and topnotch 5G capabilities, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Mobile Platform has expanded new possibilities for the development of realme's newest flagship, the realme GT 2 Pro, especially in terms of gaming, AI capability, and 5G. The new chipset will further push the user experience to a new level and become the powerful engine for realme's first premium flagship.
