Design and Features
The Splash 1 speaker has a spherical shape similar to a small plate, it measures 1121x1254 mm/4.4x4.4x2.13 inches, and weighs only 260g. It includes a lanyard so it's easy to carry or simply hang on your backpack or on your bike.

It has a sturdy plastic construction, and the Tronsmart branding is located on the front of the speaker, along with volume up, play/pause, and volume down buttons.
It features an LED lighting effect on the rim that changes between seven distinct colors every second, but there seems to be no way to stop or turn off the colors from blinking. This is a nice function to have when using the speaker outdoors or at a small crowd or when using it on your table.
The type-C charging port, as well as the Aux-in port are both protected by a rubber covering that prevents moisture from entering.
The on/off button and an "M" menu button are located on the speaker's opposite side, there is also the LED battery-level indicator situated between them. The "M" button can be used to perform stereo pairing, speaker reset, or Bluetooth/AUX switching, it's controlled by how long the button is pressed to activate its function.
The non-slip feet on the base help keep the Splash 1 in place, the lanyard can also be used to hang it anywhere. With its build quality, it should be able to withstand the harsh conditions of the outdoors.
A daisy chain connection is possible with the Splash 1 speaker, which means you can add another Splash 1 speaker for a complete left/right stereo experience and the sound quality will be significantly improved.
Performance and Sound Quality
The Splash 1 speaker has a 15W output with SoundPulse technology power and sounds rather well for such a compact speaker. The speaker performance is more than suitable for listening to music while on the beach, while hiking, cycling, or doing any other outdoor activity.
The Splash 1 has full-range and high-frequency speakers. In general, the above-mentioned frequency response is good, but there isn't much bass. As a result, its main drawback is the absence of a satisfying thud.
The Splash 1 supports quick access to Voice Assistant, simply press and hold the power button to activate the voice assistant on your smartphone it may be iPhone, Android, or Huawei devices.
In addition to being waterproof, the volume level is loud enough to be used outdoors, and the IPX7 rating ensures it is perfect for any water activities. In general, the Splash 1 is pleasant to the ear, making it a great portable wireless speaker to take along on outdoor activities.
Battery Life
The Splash 1 is equipped with a 2200mAh battery that provides 24 hours of music playback. Charging is simple via the Type-C connector, and you can use a powerbank or any wall charger to fully charge the battery, which takes about an hour.
After 15 minutes of no music being played on the speaker, the Splash 1 will go into Sleep Mode to conserve battery life, and you will need to hit the power button to activate it once more.
