Gesture-based touch controls on the Buds Z let you play, pause, and skip tracks using your fingers. The music can be played or paused with a double-tap gesture on the earbud, and the song can be changed with a triple-tap. Audio Performance
The Bass Boost+ function of the Buds Z improves sound quality by boosting the bass, thanks to the 10 mm dynamic bass boost drivers. Once paired, the realme Link app offers the option to enable this feature.

DIZO Buds Z

When it comes to audio quality, the Buds Z delivers clear bass and vocals, with good mids and high. Playing my playlist at a volume level of about 50% to 60% indoors was pleasant and reasonably loud. While at 70% to 80% volume level outdoors with ANC is still comfortable, I was able to enjoy listening to mostly light and easy rock songs, the Beatles collection, Chill Mix, and some relaxing classics such as Mozart.

The Buds Z passive-active noise cancellation performance is marginally greater than compared to other TWS, reducing ambient noise indoors and outdoors. Even at low volumes, a reasonable reduction in wind noise proved helpful. ENC mode works great and does not sound forced.

Battery Life
The 380mAh battery in the case and the 43mAh battery in each earbud give the Buds Z a total playtime of 16 hours on a full charge. The earbuds can be used for 4.5 hours before needing to be recharged.

DIZO Buds Z

Using the supplied Type-C cable, charging both the earbuds and the case takes roughly two hours. With a 10-minute quick charge, you can get about 1.5 hours of use out of it.

Pros:
Nice Natural Light Design
Comfortable to use
Good sound quality
Touch control functions
realme app link support
USB-Type-C fast charging
Water-resistant

Cons:
Only SBC codec supported
microphone Unreliable
Touch controls could be improve

Verdict
The DIZO Buds Z has an eye-catching design, comfortable fit, good sound quality, and acceptable 16 hours of battery life with additional capabilities such as 88 ms Super Low Latency and Bass Boost+. Considering its price tag of ₱1,499, the Buds Z is a good wireless earbuds choice for everyday use.
