To help aspiring artists in bringing their imaging concepts to reality, the program will give out a total of 15 grants (5 Global Grant Awards and 10 Regional Grant Awards).
Proposed projects may be submitted as still images or as movie. At the conclusion of the production period in August 2023, the website fujifilm-x.com will feature the awardees' finished works. An exhibition will also be displayed at FUJIFILM SQUARE, a gallery located within FUJIFILM's headquarters in Roppongi, Tokyo,
Global Grant Award
- USD 10,000 Grant
- Complimentary use of a GFX System camera body and two GF lenses for the duration of their project
- Mentoring and technical assistance from Fujifilm technicians / product experts
- USD 5,000 Grant
- Complimentary use of a GFX System camera body and two GF lenses for the duration of their project
- Mentoring and technical assistance from Fujifilm technicians / product experts
- Interested applicants must propose a creative project and submit online at https://www.gfxchallenge.com/ on or before November 30, 2022.
- Fujifilm will review submissions and select 45 submissions from 3 geographical regions. They will be evaluated in the next round
- The 45 selected candidates will be interviewed by Fujifilm and 15 will be chosen to proceed to the final round.
- The Global Grant Award judging team will review each candidate and select the 5 global grant award recipients and the remaining 10 will receive the regional grant award.
- The program is open to residents of the Philippines.
- The program is open to both amateur and professional photographers and videographers.
- The program is open to both Fujifilm and non-Fujifilm users.
