Here’s how you can continue to earn 6% interest rate DAILY with Maya Savings

Maya Savings

Earlier this month, Maya lowered its interest rate from 6% to 4.5% p.a. While this is still considered pretty high especially compared to other digital and traditional banks.

Many of us still want to retain that 6% interest to further grow our savings – especially now that Maya users are receiving their savings interest DAILY!

Turns out, there’s still a way to keep your 6% savings interest with Maya – and it’s way easier than you think. All you need is to use Maya for your essential transactions. Since most of us are already paying for our bills and groceries via cashless means – this is pretty easy. I’ve done this since its launch earlier this month, and here’s how you can too:

1. Pay at least ₱250 via Maya QR
2. Pay at least ₱250 online via your Maya mobile number
3. Pay at least ₱250 via your Maya card
4. Settle a bill in your Maya app worth at least ₱250.

Completing ANY of these transactions lets you earn 6% interest p.a on your Savings for 30 days. This offer is available until November 30, 2022, but Maya says we need to watch out for more savings offers by December. If you don’t have your own Maya Savings account yet, now is the best time to open one – because you get a free Maya card when you deposit at least P500 to your account!

Users with Maya Savings will be automatically upgraded to Maya Power Users, allowing them the ability to deposit up to P500,000 into their Wallet and transfer it to their Maya Savings account. Best of all, Maya clients can access their savings anywhere and at any time thanks to the app's 99.9% uptime reliability.

Opening a Maya Savings account is 100% hassle-free compared to traditional banks. If you have a Maya account that has been upgraded, you can begin saving right away! If you're a newbie to Maya, simply update your account. It's as simple as filling out the form, taking a video selfie, and uploading just one valid ID.

Maya combines the popular PayMaya e-wallet with new features like crypto, and an innovative digital banking experience powered by Maya Bank, to allow you to spend, save, grow, invest, and master your money — using your smartphone.
