FUJIFILM X-T5 Launched, Priced in the Philippines

FUJIFILM unveiled the FUJIFILM X-T5, the latest edition to the X Series of mirrorless digital cameras known for their compact and lightweight designs and outstanding image quality.

The X-T5 features the fifth-generation back-illuminated 40.2MP sensor “X-TransTM CMOS 5 HR”*2 and the high-speed image processing engine “X-Processor 5” in a compact body that is smaller and lighter than the previous model. It also has advanced features such as 5-axis in-body image stabilization of up to 7.0 stops.

This camera delivers greater performance and portability for still photography. The Improved image quality, ISO125 as a normal sensitivity, the fastest shutter speed of 1/180000 sec, and Pixel Shift Multi-Shot expand photographic variations. Other capabilities include the Smooth Skin Effect, Subject Detection AF that can detect animals and birds, and AI-based high-precision auto white balance.

The camera has X-T Series Center Viewfinder and dial design. 1.84 million-dot three-way tilting LCD screen makes shooting vertically or at waist level more comfortable. This extensive amount of performance and capabilities are packed into a 557g body, which is lighter and smaller than prior models.

The X-T5 will be a great companion for street/documentary photography, where its mobility is a big benefit, to landscape and portraiture, which demand outstanding image quality. Other features include the ability to capture 10-bit 4:2:2 video at 6.2K/30P, a 0.8x viewfinder magnification, a 3.69-million-dot EVF, and twin SD card ports.

FUJIFILM also released the XF30mmF2.8 R LM WR Macro lens. It will be a new addition to Fujifilm's line of interchangeable XF lenses for X Series mirrorless digital cameras, offering a compact, lightweight construction, and superb image quality.

The XF30mmF2.8R LM WR Macro is a 30mm prime lens (equivalent to 46mm in the 35mm film format). Compared to ordinary lenses, this product offers a much shorter minimum working distance and increased close-up performance, allowing 1:1 macro photography.
