Rapoo E9100M Slim Wireless Keyboard Review
The Rapoo E9100M is a reasonably priced, slim wireless keyboard that supports multiple device connections.
Design and Built
The Rapoo E9100M is a compact and slim keyboard with a thickness of only 4.9mm, and only weighting 302g making it perfect for workstations with limited space. It has a precise scissor design with a base made of aluminum alloy.
It features a typical QWERTY layout with tactile keypads. Bluetooth and Wireless (via dongle) connectivity types are supported.
It uses two AAA batteries and includes alkaline batteries, so there is no need to buy extra ones.
The body of the keyboard is made of plastic, and its slim design makes it vulnerable to bending when sufficient force is applied. Moreover, it has a nice angle and rubberized feet that keep it stable on the table.
Performance
The keyboard features a decent key layout with adequate spacing, a slim design that makes it pleasant to use without the need for palm rest, and long usage does not cause wrist discomfort.
Connectivity is via Bluetooth 4.0 or the included nano USB Receiver, the keyboard is plug-and-play, so it can be used immediately after the receiver is plugged in the USB port.
It allows multiple connections, so it can be used connected to a PC, and it can also be connected to devices via Bluetooth connection; simply pair it with your tablet or smartphone.
To switch between connected devices, simply press FN + 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 to toggle between devices. It takes around a nanosecond to switch between devices, which is still fast, and the connection is reliable up to 10 meters.
In terms of battery life, Rapoo claims that the included Alkaline battery can last up to 12 months of use, which is impressive.

Verdict
Unlike bulkier wireless keyboards, the Rapoo E9100M is a slim wireless keyboard that won't take up much room on your desk. Although it lacks a backlight and offers just basic tactile feedback. It's comfortable to use and has a decent angle that does not cause wrist discomfort during extended use.
