The NW-ZX707 features improved fine-tuned capacitors, an FTCAP3 (High polymer capacitor), and a huge solid high polymer capacitor with low resistance and high capacitance. The NW-ZX707 produces a sound that seems to rise from silence thanks to an OFC milled block covering the digital block. A balanced 8mm coil improves sound resolution across all frequencies. In the latest Signature Walkman, all four types of components are used.

The NW-ZX707 can play 44.1kHz FLAC for 25 hours, 96 kHz FLAC for 23 hours, or 22 hours even when streaming. To meet user demand, the NW-A306 offers a battery life of up to 36 hours 1 of 44.1kHz FLAC playing, 32 hours 1 of 96kHz high-resolution music playback, or 26 hours 2 with streaming service apps.
