Synology Launches BC500 and TC500 Surveillance AI Cameras

Synology's latest versatile all-weather bullet and turret cameras for smart surveillance, the BC500, and TC500 feature advanced AI capabilities, exceptional video quality, and seamless integration with the Surveillance Station video management system.

The BC500 and TC500 feature 5-megapixel sensors that record at 2880x1620 resolution at 30fps and have a 110° horizontal viewing angle, giving smooth, detailed video with wide area coverage. Both cameras are suitable for indoor and outdoor use. These smart AI cameras feature IP67 dust and water protection, night vision up to 30 meters, and multi-exposure HDR.

The BC500 and TC500's robust on-camera AI capabilities provide faster event response. People and vehicle detection, intrusion detection, and instant search help users identify potential risks, swiftly study areas of interest, and find and download pertinent footage.

The BC500 and TC500 are designed to integrate seamlessly with Surveillance stations. The Synology NAS-hosted environment manages camera and network settings. Synology cameras do not require Surveillance Station device licensing, simplifying setup, migration, and deployment.

Synology's latest cameras have failover edge storage to keep recording if connectivity fails. HTTPS and SRTP support encrypting video and data streams and make firmware updates easy with adjustable schedules.

The BC500 and TC500 are NDAA and TAA compliant, meaning that they meet the standards and security requirements for procurement by the US federal government and are a safe choice for surveillance installers and security systems integrators.
