Acer Predator Orion X Gaming Desktop: Features Sci-fi Inspired, DIY-Friendly Design
This compact desktop's design was inspired by a space capsule and features separate "zones" for the CPU, GPU, and liquid cooling system. This upgradeable gaming PC features a mechanical arm-like headset cradle on top and a magnetic front cover for added protection.
The Predator Orion X's 13th Gen Intel i9-13900KS processor has 24 cores, 32 threads, a 150W TDP, the latest hybrid architecture, and record-setting 6GHz processor performance. The compact gaming PC features a liquid-cooled NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 GPU block with 24 GB of G6X memory to give gamers and creators the best experience. To fit a GeForce RTX 4090 GPU of this size, it adds a custom-engineered, liquid-cooled cooling module to the heat sink fans.
The Predator Orion X's space capsule-inspired chassis weighs 9 kg (19.8 lbs) and has three "zones" for customization and performance. Zone 2 houses the VGA and two 2.5-inch SATA HDD ports, while Zone 1 provides easier access to the CPU, PSU, and SSD. Zone 3 stores a 240 mm CPU liquid cooler near Zone 1 to cool its powerful internals. To complete its unique look, the aluminum side panels safeguard important zones and can be removed using a simple latch for easy upgrading. The top has a rotatable robotic-like arm that serves as a headset rest.
The Predator Orion X has up to 32GB of DDR5-5600 RAM, two M.2 SSDs (up to 1 TB each), and an illuminated, hot-swappable NVMe M.2 SSD drive slot for storage. The DIY gaming rig has fast and seamless connectivity with Intel Killer E3100G and Intel Killer Wi-Fi 6E AX211 and a generous amount of ports, including two USB 3.2 Gen1 (one Type-C and one Type-A), a mic and combo jack at the front, a USB 3.2 Gen2x2 Type-C port, three Type-A [1] ports, two USB 2.0, and an RJ45 at the rear.
The PredatorSense 4.0 utility program on the Predator Orion X lets players monitor the system for overclocking and customize RGB lighting using a customizable, intuitive interface to maximize the system's capabilities.

Acer also introduced two new curved displays to its lineup: the Nitro XZ452CU V and the Predator X34 V.
