PhilEnergy 2024

PhilEnergy, a prominent B2B trade event, returns for its 4th edition in March, poised to bring together local and international energy leaders, brands, and businesses. This three-day trade show aims to bolster the revitalization of the country's energy sector.

Formerly co-located with Informa Markets’ WATER PHILIPPINES, PhilEnergy emerges as a standalone event in 2024, underlining the industry's potential. Serving as its launch, PhilEnergy 2024 promises to be the "ultimate platform for industry players to explore cutting-edge energy technologies and products."

Anticipating over 4,000 trade visitors and participants from energy sectors globally, PhilEnergy stands as the Philippines' most comprehensive energy trade event, according to Rungphech ‘Rose’ Chitanuwat, Country General Manager of Informa Markets in the Philippines.

Beyond showcasing innovations, PhilEnergy 2024 will feature seminars, workshops, and conferences by partner organizations. Topics include Smart Grid Technologies by MERALCO and Power System Stability and Control by the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines.

PhilEnergy also hosts industry forums such as 'Accelerating Renewable Energy Transition' and the PCAB Licensing Workshop, alongside the Philippine Energy Efficiency Alliance Inc.'s 'First Fuel Energy Efficiency Day 2024' conference.

Participants include AsiaPhil Inc., Daikin Philippines, Schneider Electric Philippines, and Yokogawa Philippines, among others.

Expanding its focus to five main energy profiles—Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency, Electric and Power, Electric Vehicle, and Energy Storage—PhilEnergy 2024 aligns with the nation's renewable energy sector expansion.

President Ferdinand ‘Bong Bong’ Marcos Jr. unveiled the government's goal to increase the renewable energy share in the power generation mix to 35 percent by 2030 and to 50 percent by 2040 during the Asia Zero Emission Community (AZEC) leaders’ meeting in December 2023.

The Philippines aims to expedite renewable energy investments, recently granting 'green lane processing' for projects worth up to ₱244 billion.

PhilEnergy 2024 takes place from March 20 to 22, 2024, at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City, opening its gates at 9:30 a.m.
