The unboxing experience is straightforward, focusing on essentials and avoiding unnecessary clutter. The inclusion of a 100W fast charger is a huge plus, highlighting HONOR's commitment to fast charging technology.
First Look
The HONOR 200 stands out with its premium, elegant design, available in four striking colors: Moonlight White, Emerald Green, Coral Pink, and Black.
We got our hands on the black version. While it may appear understated and boring, it offers a sleek and refined appearance. If you're looking for a bit more flair, the other color options feature a subtle shimmer on the back panel. This effect adds a unique touch, reflecting light nicely without being too flashy.
The HONOR 200 boasts a slim and lightweight design, making it easy to hold. It measures 7.7 mm and weighs just 187 grams. The phone feels comfortable in the hand, thanks to its smooth edges and sturdy build. The front features a 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with very thin bezels for an immersive viewing experience.
The HONOR 200 boasts a triple-camera setup on the back, highlighted by a noticeable camera bump. Its design draws inspiration from Gaudi's "Casa Mila," seamlessly blending symmetry with elegant curves to create a visually striking look. Compared to last year's HONOR 90, this model features a refined design and improved camera capabilities. The rear cameras include a 50MP wide camera (f/1.95, OIS), a 50MP telephoto camera (f/2.4, OIS), and a 12MP ultra wide camera (f/2.2), complemented by an LED flash to improve photography in low-light conditions.
The volume and power buttons are conveniently located on the right side. At the top are the IR blaster for controlling appliances (which remains a standout feature), along with a speaker and an additional microphone.
Moving to the bottom, it houses a dual SIM slot. Unfortunately, there's no microSD card slot, which could be a disappointment for some users. There's also a USB-C port for charging and data transfer, a loud speaker, and a microphone, keeping everything essential in one place.
Overall, the HONOR 200 impresses with its solid build quality and premium appearance. While it doesn't boast a fancy glass back panel, its sleek and functional design makes it lightweight and comfortable to hold.

The 6.78-inch FHD+ OLED display is stunning. With a resolution of 2664 x 1200 pixels and a pixel density of ~436ppi, everything looks sharp and vibrant. The 120Hz refresh rate ensures smooth scrolling and fluid animations, enhancing the overall user experience. There's also a 50MP selfie camera on top of the display, promising high-quality selfies and video calls.
One of the standout features of the display is its peak brightness of 4000 nits, making it easily viewable even under direct sunlight. HDR support adds to the viewing experience, providing richer colors and better contrast when watching compatible content.

Setting up the HONOR 200 is quick and easy. Upon powering up, you're greeted with Android 14 running on MagicOS 8. It supports 5G for fast internet speeds and minimal lag, it also features WIFI 6 (dual-band), allowing you to connect to both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks for faster and more stable WIFI connections. Bluetooth 5.3 allows effortless pairing with other devices, offering improved range and speed. Additionally, NFC capability enables convenient payments and connections with other NFC-enabled devices.
