POCO Teams Up with PUBG for the POCO PUBG Mobile Philippine Cup

POCO, a popular brand among young tech enthusiasts, has teamed up with the popular battle royale game, PUBG Mobile for POCO PUBG Mobile Philippine Cup. This collaboration aims to boost the Filipino esports scene.

The collaboration kicked off with Gamers Night at Sari Sari Bar Makati on July 9, 2024. The event featured attendees like Benj Dalmacio, Senior Business Development Manager of Level Infinite PH, and Angela Elejido, POCO Marketing Manager. They showcased the latest POCO smartphones, shared their insights, and enjoyed playing PUBG Mobile.

POCO announced the POCO PUBG Mobile Philippine Cup, a nationwide PUBG Mobile tournament open to all. Winners will receive POCO products and exclusive in-game rewards.

The rules and mechanics of the POCO PUBG Mobile Philippines Cup are:

  1. This tournament series is open for players who reside in the Philippines, and meet the participation requirements per game. Players 14 years old and below are not allowed to join in this tournament.
  2. Teams can register in multiple qualifiers but if the teams have qualified from the played qualifier, the slot for the next qualifier will be forfeited.
  3. Teams should comprise four players plus a reserve in case of substitution.
  4. By registering, teams acknowledge that all usage of photos, videos, and any form of recording during the tournament have been given legal consent by the players for media and marketing purposes.
  5. Team and player names may not use offensive or vulgar names. Names that are found to be offensive or vulgar will not be tolerated by the organizers, and a request of name change is allowed during and before the competition. Participants who do not follow this instruction will be disqualified.
  6. The registered email and contact number per team will be used to receive further instructions for the qualifiers. These contact persons are responsible for sharing information with their team.
  7. Team information cannot be changed after the registration.
  8. PMCL teams are not allowed to join the POCO PUBG Mobile Philippines Cup.
Registration ends on Thursday, July 21, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. Qualifiers will happen in three waves from July 28 to 30, 2024.

The top team will take home a whopping ₱115,000 worth of POCO products, while the second-place team walks away with ₱63,000 worth of prizes. On top of that, the top three teams will receive exclusive PUBG Mobile in-game rewards!
