Canon Philippines Unveils New PIXMA PRO Series for Professional Printing

Canon Philippines has launched its latest PIXMA PRO series, featuring three new professional photo printers designed for photographers, artists, and creative professionals.

The lineup includes the PIXMA PRO-200S (A3+), imagePROGRAF PRO-310 (A3+), and imagePROGRAF PRO-510 (A2)—each built to deliver high-quality, gallery-ready prints.

According to Jian Liu, Director of Consumer Information and Imaging at Canon Philippines, the PIXMA PRO series is designed for Filipino photographers and graphic artists who want their work to come alive on print. These printers are ideal for exhibitions, archiving, or personal collections, offering exceptional color accuracy and long-lasting prints.

Advanced Ink Technology for Stunning Prints. Each model in the series uses a specialized ink system to produce vibrant, high-quality images:

• PIXMA PRO-200S: Uses an 8-color dye-based ink system for rich and vivid prints.
• imagePROGRAF PRO-310: Features Canon’s LUCIA PRO II pigment ink system with 10 colors, enhancing color depth and detail.
• imagePROGRAF PRO-510: Takes it even further with a 12-color ink system, including red, blue, and two shades of gray, for better color accuracy and smooth tonal transitions.

The LUCIA PRO II pigment ink also ensures scratch resistance and long-lasting quality, with prints capable of maintaining their brilliance for up to 200 years. This makes them perfect for professional displays and long-term preservation. The Chroma Optimizer feature in the PRO-310 and PRO-510 enhances gloss uniformity, ensuring images look great under different lighting conditions.

Designed for Convenience and Sustainability
All three models come with a 3-inch LCD screen and wireless connectivity, making them easy to use. Canon has also taken a step toward sustainability by using eco-friendly packaging, replacing polystyrene foam with recyclable cardboard and pulp molds.
