The WH-1000XM6 brings major upgrades over its predecessor. At the core is Sony’s new QN3 Noise Canceling Processor, which works with the V2 Integrated Processor to deliver noise cancellation that’s seven times faster. With twelve microphones built into the headset, the XM6 captures ambient sound more clearly and improves voice isolation for calls. A redesigned 30mm driver gives deeper bass and brighter highs, while 360 Reality Audio with Headtracking creates a more immersive listening experience. There’s also a customizable 10-band equalizer and modes for gaming and cinematic content.
Sony has also improved portability and comfort. The WH-1000XM6 folds for easy storage and comes with a sleek magnetic case. Battery life remains impressive, offering up to 30 hours with ANC on, and now includes listen-while-charging and faster USB PD support.
