The LCD panel looks nice, and the brightness levels are good. Colors are presented in vivid colors, and viewing angles are amazing and wide, just don't use it in direct sunlight. Thanks to its 90Hz refresh rate, scrolling on apps is smoother and more responsive. It has Widevine L1 certification, so it means playing HD quality on Netflix and Amazon Prime is available.
We enjoyed watching our movies and our favorite TV shows on Netflix on this device, the colors look great, and the refresh rate is really impressive. It features Eye Comfort, which allows you to customize the color temperatures, and a blue light filter to reduce strain on the eyes while using it for a long period and for reading at night. It also sets the schedule for when it will be activated. It also features Dark Mode system-wide, it even supports schedule time and applies Dark Mode to third-party apps, which is still beta mode.

It's powered by a Helio G95 Gaming processor with up to 2.05GHz clock speed. The Helio G95 sports two Cortex A76 cores, along with six Cortex A55 cores, and graphics performance handled by the Arm Mali-G76 MC4 with up to 900MHz for boosted gaming performance. It also comes with 8GB LPDDR4x of RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 of internal storage.
On day-to-day usage, this phone can perform great, opening apps is swift, multitasking is a breeze, and switching apps between social media and gaming is quick, which means the RAM management together with the realme AI works great.
On AntuTu, it scores 295771, which is not bad for a midrange device, ranking 52nd, beating the Mi Note 10 Pro. For the real test, we downloaded some of the most popular games available on Google Play today.
Playing Call of Duty Mobile on this phone is a smooth experience, even at high graphics settings with consistent frame rates. Asphalt 9: Legends is another game that runs smoothly, allowing us to enjoy extended gaming sessions. We also tried War Robots, and while the graphics and gameplay are fantastic, it tends to load slowly. Fortunately, the phone supports dual-band WiFi, ensuring faster and more stable wireless connections. Additionally, it has 4G LTE support on its dual nano-SIM, making it possible to play games on the go.
One noteworthy aspect is that we didn't experience any overheating issues during our gaming sessions with the realme 7, which is quite impressive. This indicates that the carbon fiber cooling system effectively maintains the device's high-speed performance.
When it comes to gaming, audio is a crucial aspect. However, the realme 7 disappoints slightly in this department, featuring only a single loudspeaker at the bottom that doesn't deliver the best sound quality. It would have been an improvement if it came with Dual Stereo speakers like the realme 7 Pro. But it does support wired earphones through the 3.5mm headphone jack, providing good-quality audio. Alternatively, users can opt for a more immersive wireless audio experience by connecting Bluetooth earphones such as the realme Buds Q.
