Soundpeats TrueAir2 Wireless Buds Review

The new Soundpeats TrueAir2 is another budget-friendly wireless earbuds that pack some cool features such as dual-mic CVC noise-canceling, the latest Qualcomm QCC3040 chip, and Bluetooth 5.2 technology.

We already reviewed the Soundpeats TrueFree2 wireless earbuds now time to test the new Soundpeats TrueAir2, thanks to Digital Walker for sending us a sample, now here's our review.

Unboxing
It comes in standard Soundpeats packing with the product image at the front and back of the box, and detailed specs at the side.

The box contains the standard package that includes the TrueAir2 wireless earbuds, charging case, Type-C cable, and paper materials, no extra eartips are included since its design does not support it.

Design
the TrueAir2 comes in a simple design with a plastic body, the stem, and the body has a rounded shape, with the Soundpeats logo on the head.

The inner part of the stem is where the contact points to charge the battery, the speaker looks similar to AirPods that easily fit on the ear and it's quite comfortable at its lightweight only 0.14oz each earbud.

The charging case also has plastic built, with a simple design, it can be easily slipped into the pocket with its pill case design. It has a Type-C USB port for charging and there's an LED light that indicates charging status, but there is a battery capacity light indicator.

Features
The TrueAir2 packs a Qualcomm aptX lossless codec and 14.2mm large driver that gives an enhanced sound quality.

It has a dual mic and CVC noise-canceling, to make calls clear without any disruption or disconnection with a dual mic in each earbud and improved cVc noise cancellation technology.

For wireless connection it uses Bluetooth: 5.2 and It also got the advanced True Wireless Mirroring technology that balances consumption between two earbuds and improves connection stability.

The earbud supports touch controls, it's easy to use it just needs a light touch to activate the functions.

Tap and Hold R to skip a music
Tap and Hold L to play the previous music

Sound Quality
This budget wireless earbud offers good audio quality, playing party music is fun and the beat will let you groove while listening, the bass is present but not strong and the lows are punchy, while the mids are strong especially when playing classical music.

When it comes to vocals, the TrueAir2 has clear vocals but is a bit recessed, we're expecting a more strong voice quality since it's one of the most important aspects when listening to music and podcast. But this could be because the earbuds do not go deep enough in the ear canal.

Overall the TrueAir2 offers a nice smooth and warm feeling when listening to our favorite playlist.

Battery
Playtime with the TrueAir2 packs a 30mAH battery for each earbud and got us around 4 hours on a full charge and the case can charge the earbuds 4 times more so that's around 20 hours more of use which is actually impressive considering how tiny and light this earbud. Charging the case takes about 2 hours.

Verdict
For its price, the Soundpeats TrueAir2 is a good budget wireless earphone with a simple design and good audio quality, too bad it does not have eartips which is a better earbuds design to fully enjoy the sound quality. The battery is impressive with long hours of playtime.
