Lenovo Legion 2021 Lineup

Lenovo Legion officially announced its next-generation of gaming PCs powered by AMD Ryzen 5000 H-series Mobile Processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3000 Series GPUs with innovative features that deliver a more stylish and high-performing experience.

Lenovo Legion 2021 Lineup

With the AMD Ryzen 5000 H-series mobile processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTXTM 3000 Series GPUs, the latest arsenal of Lenovo Legion offers higher-resolution screens, AI-assisted thermal cooling, and framerate customization, as well as the ability to fully immerse gamers or tackle challenging tasks. With the savage performances of the Legion 5, Legion 5 Pro, and Legion 7 notebooks, users can work hard during the day and play harder at night.

AMD Ryzen 5000 H-series Mobile Processors
The new Legion 5, Legion 5 Pro, and Legion 7 notebooks are among the first to feature AMD Ryzen 5000 H series Mobile Processors. These are the world's first processors with eight high-performance cores, making them ideal for ultrathin gaming notebooks. The processors combine exceptional power, elite durability, and long-lasting battery life to keep gamers playing for years to come, thanks to AMD's new Zen 3 Core Architecture and the world's most advanced x86 chip technology.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3000 Series GPUs
The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3000 Series GPUs were created to have the best gaming experience possible. These graphics cards include award-winning NVIDIA Ampere architecture, 3rd Generation Ray Tracing Cores, 2nd Generation Tensor Cores, and streaming multiprocessors to provide gamers and content developers with the most realistic graphics ever, as well as cutting-edge AI to fine-tune art to the smallest degree. They still have NVIDIA DLSS 2.0 Technology, which uses AI to improve the speed of the laptop while playing sports. For eg, starting Cyberpunk 2077 with DLSS Technology improves efficiency by up to 60%.

Smarter Technology by Lenovo
The Lenovo Legion AI Engine is included with the Legion 5, Legion 5 Pro, and Legion 7, and it supports the top-16 AAA titles, allowing them to be played as smoothly as ever. To overclock PC performance, the engine blends best-in-class hardware, software, and machine learning. The Legion AI Engine senses and routes the most-ideal Thermal Design Power (TDP) settings to the CPU and GPU to achieve the highest frames per second (FPS) in games when a game is started.

The Coldfront 3.0 thermal control device in the current Legion lineup also uses AI to keep the temperature within cooler while gaming activity heats up. Using turbo-charged dual-fans and quad-channel exhausts with vapor chamber technology, the Coldfront 3.0 has an adaptive intake mechanism that allows for up to 18% more airflow than the previous version. Coldfront 3.0 transfers large amounts of air through modules to quickly dissipate heat and allows for improved efficiency and all-day mobility with long-lasting battery life, thanks to the aid of robust thermal conduction materials.

The world’s first 16” QHD gaming notebooks
The Legion 5 Pro and Legion 7 are the world's first gaming laptops to feature 16" Quad High Definition (QHD) screens, allowing for a taller and sharper (16:10) 16:10 aspect ratio (2560 x 1600 resolution). Gamers get a cinematic-like experience of up to a 165Hz refresh rate, 100 percent sRGB, and 500 nits of brightness, which helps in competitive sports. The wider monitor improves a gamer's sightlines and field of vision, allowing them to spot enemies quicker. Furthermore, both the Legion 5 Pro and Legion 7 displays have 3ms reaction times and are VESA DisplayHDRTM 400 certified, as well as supporting Dolby Vision and NVIDIA G-SYNCTM.

Nahimic Audio
Harman speakers in the current Legion lineup have been optimized for Nahimic Audio. Nahimic's 360-degree audio and features like Night Mode with smart volume reduction and Sound Tracker, which visually points out a sound's source and location in a game, offer gamers a strategic advantage. Nahimic Audio also has a background noise reduction capability that allows for crystal-clear video calls, as well as Sound Sharing, and allows audio to be streamed from a PC to two separate headsets without the use of audio adapters.

Reinforced Support
The Legion 5, Legion 5 Pro, and Legion 7 all benefit from Lenovo's updated Vantage program. They also have the Vantage Smart Performance Services solution, which scans, detects, and removes spyware, ransomware, and adware to eliminate PC downtime. Gamers will now use the new solution's ability to address network and access problems to greatly minimize lag and congestion when playing online multiplayer games.

Aiding the Lenovo Vantage is the 3-Year Premium Care warranty service that’s bundled together with the notebooks upon purchase. The service consists of solutions that provide an advanced and tailored level of care that reduces downtime, increases efficiency, and keeps customers moving. Included among the offerings that users of Premium Care can enjoy are a 24/7 direct hotline to Specialized Senior Technicians, comprehensive hardware and software support, and an Annual PC Health Check.
