The realme C25s is the latest budget smartphone in realme's C-series. It's the updated version of realme C25 that packs a more powerful processor and a massive 6000 mAh battery with an 18W quick charge.

The realme C-series is the company's entry-level smartphone range, which is both inexpensive and powerful. The latest C25s is an updated version of the popular C25 with a larger battery capacity and an upgraded chipset.

It comes in the typical yellow realme box with the massive C25s branding on the front and the usual tech details on the back, just like any other realme product.

Inside the box, it contains the realme C25s phone, USB Type-C Cable, 18W charger adapter, quick start guide, important product information (including the warranty card). No earbuds included a bit disappointing but it's expected.

Design and Built
In terms of design, the C25s is just the same as the C25 with a faster CPU. It features a lovely surface and the same geometric pattern on the back. It comes in two colorways: watery grey and watery blue.

The realme logo is embossed, and the triple camera sensors are encapsulated, there is also a fingerprint scanner that works fast and efficient in unlocking the phone.

The power button and volume rocker are on the right side of the phone, while the SIM slot is on the left side it has a triple tray that can hold two nano-SIM cards and one microSD card for extra storage capacity.

The 3.5mm audio connector, USB Type-C connector, and microphone are all located toward the bottom of the device. It's encouraging to see that Realme is now integrating the more advanced Type-C connector on its entry-level devices, allowing for quicker charging and data transfer.

The realme C25s features a 6.5-inch display with an 88.7% screen-to-body ratio and a peak brightness of 570nits, which isn't bad, the bezels are noticeable but not bothersome. It also has an 8-megapixel front camera placed on the top notch.

The key difference between the C25 and the C25s is the 12nm MediaTek Helio G85 chipset, which delivers a more powerful and reliable performance compared to MediaTek Helio G70 which is used on C25.

The MediaTek Helio G85 pumps its Arm Mali-G52 GPU up to a 1GHz peak, blasting performance for mobile gamers. Meanwhile, the octa-core CPU features two powerful Arm Cortex-A75 CPUs operating up to 2GHz and six Cortex-A55 processors operating up to 1.8GHz, interlinked by a large L3 cache for improved performance.

First Impressions

The realme C25s is a good pick if you're searching for a new smartphone at the 8K price range. It has a robust Helio G85 octa-core chipset that can handle multitasking and the most popular online games. It also has TÜV Rheinland Smartphone High-Reliability Certification and a stunning 6.5-inch display. Also, the massive 6,000mAh battery can handle all-day gaming and has quick charging capabilities. It also comes with good camera sensors, that can capture really nice pictures and videos, it's also a great device to use for online schooling.

The realme C25s will be available first on Shopee starting June 15,2021. The 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM variant will retail for ₱7,490, while the 4GB RAM + 128GB ROM variant will retail for ₱8,490.
