It has a single speaker on the bottom, and the audio quality seems to be quite good. But Stereo speakers are always better. The bass is somewhat weak, and the volume also needs improvement. It's good that it includes a 3.5mm audio jack, which allows for private listening to your playlist.
Software -FunTouch OS
It runs on FunTouch OS 11.1 which is based on Android 11 and feels really smooth and snappy. The default theme is aesthetically attractive, however, it includes lots of bloatware apps that can be easily uninstalled.

Battery
The Y73 packs a 4000mAh battery capacity, even though the battery isn't as large as what you'd find on most phones in this price category. When used moderately, it can last a day, which includes reading emails, surfing browsing the web and posting to social media, using the camera to snap some photos, playing games during breaktime, watching Netflix while on transit, and listening to music to unwind.

Charging the battery is fast, but nothing special. The 33W FlashCharge can fill-up the battery to 60% in 30 minutes and a full charge can take about two hours from 0% capacity.
Camera
The Y73 is fitted with a triple camera system that includes a 64-megapixel main sensor with electronic image stabilization (EIS) and two 2-megapixel depth and macro sensors. A 16-megapixel camera sensor is placed on the front for taking selfies.

Using a 64-megapixel camera, you get binned 16-megapixel quality images. HDR mode and portrait light effects are available in the camera app. Aperture settings can be changed to blur the backdrop, or you can use the super macro mode. The camera app also includes night mode, time-lapse, slo-mo, panorama, live photo, and pro modes.
It can record video in up to 4K resolution at 30 frames per second, or in 1080p at 60 frames per second. An ultra-stability option is also available, although the video quality is trimmed down. It also supports Dual-View video, which allows you to use both the back and front camera to record your video.
Sample Photos:
Using the 64MP camera in well-lit conditions, the photos have lots of detail and vibrant colors. On the other hand, photos taken in low light are acceptable but of lesser quality; the dedicated night mode with AI helps in noise reduction, which improves night images.
The 16-megapixel front-facing camera, on the other hand, captures decent selfies with good detail and skin tone that is very near to what you'd expect. Colors are generally pleasing, however, there are some photos in some situations where the contrast seems a bit excessive, but not to worry since it features a lot of filters that can help improve the quality of the pictures.
Pros
Slim Premium design
Lightweight
Vibrant display
Good performance
Camera is very capable
Cons
Speaker not loud
Only 4G LTE
Comes with bloatware
Verdict
The vivo Y73 is a sleek and slim smartphone with an eye-catching AG Matte Glass finish that feels nice and light on hand. It's a good smartphone for everyday usage, with decent performance and a fast user interface. The AMOLE display is ideal for watching media and gaming. While the cameras are capable of producing high-quality images, they can also record 4K video, which is an advantage. Sadly, it only supports 4G LTE connections; 5G mobile speeds would have been nice.
If you are looking to replace, or simply want a new smartphone capable of handling your daily digital needs with good cameras and a sharp screen, the vivo Y73 is a good option. You can buy it for only just ₱14,999 from vivo stores, as well as on Shopee and Lazada.
