LG recently showcased its latest vast selection of LG Commercial Displays in the recent LG Reconnect event held in The Podium Hall, Mandaluyong. This is to address the needs of the future today.

Ed Kasunuran, head of business solutions, started off with a short intro on how the event came to be. “The whole industry went into upheaval because of the pandemic, so it’s crucial to address consumer needs. LG, as expected, went over and beyond to deliver what the market wants. Today, we will be unveiling some of LG’s innovations that showcase new technology that pushes us forward to the future.”

Industry leaders provided brief talks outlining how LG's innovative technology can be leveraged to propel various industries to greater heights. Bryan Tan, senior regional business development manager for Asia, discussed retail trends, in particular how the pandemic spurred digital acceleration in Southeast Asia, making it one of the world's most connected regions by 2022.

For the hospitality industry, business development manager Karl Herrera discussed the advantages of employing commercial screens as opposed to consumer televisions. He provided extensive comparisons demonstrating how the commercial solutions have almost three times the usage hours and more than double the longevity of consumer displays.

Mikee De Ocampo, LG business development manager, said commercial display solutions may boost workplace efficiency and collaboration. These display systems offer dynamic, user-friendly platforms to satisfy emerging corporate needs while enhancing meeting efficiency and simplifying maintenance.

LG Business development manager Hannah Cepe also shared her expertise with LED. She introduced indoor, outdoor, and content LEDs. Each has a unique use. Magnit, Bloc. Transparent Film, and FIne-Pitch Series give a larger color spectrum and viewing angle.

Jane Pactoranan, an LG business development manager, spoke last on pandemic-related monitor demand. She discussed how the Standard, UltraWide, UHD 4K Monitor, and UltraGear series can aid businesses and consumers.

LG's commercial display solutions were showcased. The event's centerpiece was the launch of the 54" LSAC025, a cable-less LED Video Wall Display. The LSAC series' block assembly design simplifies installation. Easy installation, maintenance, and replacement. LSAC series is bezel-free, so audiences can focus on visual content without bezel interference. It's a first-of-its-kind engineering marvel.

Productivity during meetings is incredibly important. One: Quick Works is great for hybrid offices. The 55" screen makes conferences more interactive and productive. One: Quick Flex has most of One: Quick Works' capabilities, but is more mobile. It's 43" but comes with a stand and can swivel horizontally or vertically.

LG's One: Quick Share allows for quick, effortless, and fuss-free screen sharing. LG One: Quick Share is a wireless screen-sharing solution available through LG Digital Signage, USB (SC-00DA), and its app. Want statement conference rooms? LG never disappoints. The LAEC series offers a 136-inch screen with an inbuilt controller and speaker.

LG Transparent OLED Signage offers new ways to communicate visually and opens up new creative possibilities. LG's OLED technology makes Transparent OLED Signage thinner without a backlight unit or liquid crystal layer, achieving 38%* transparency, far higher than traditional LCD transparent displays (10% **). While revealing items behind the screen, it overlays relevant details. Self-lighting pixels preserve bright colors and a great contrast ratio even when translucent. It brings stuff to life from wide viewing angles and mixes it into its surroundings.

55XE4F-M is a great outdoor display. The XE4F series' 4,000 nits of brightness provide crisp and vibrant images even in direct sunlight. Slim and durable, XE4F series can be simply placed in challenging exterior situations. It's a single display with a light and slim design that can be readily customized without a separate housing. By adding additional LEDs, XE4F performs brighter and cooler, lasting longer than normal goods. It's also visible through polarized sunglasses.

LG produces products for hotels and destination rooms. LG's 55" UHD Pro: Centric Hotel TV has pre-installed content management. US660H supports Ultra HD and Pro: Centric content management. The new webOS 5.0 makes customizing content for customers easier. Mood Display & Gallery Mode let you use the TV as a personalized clock and artwork that fits your space and life.

Peter Uhm, LG Philippines’ Information Display product director, gave insight regarding the brand’s vision for commercial displays “We want our products to offer proactive solutions, not reactive. We want to anticipate the needs of tomorrow, today. We hope that you can join us together as we move daily life forward one display at a time.”
