The all-new Hyundai Creta is a premium B-segment SUV based on the company's new "Sensuous Sportiness" design language. It boasts a design that is bold, aggressive, and elegant, which is now the characteristic of a luxury SUV. The car has the highest amount of active safety measures in its segment, along with a spacious and comfortable cabin. Equipped with a 1.5-liter Smartstream engine and paired with an improved CVT transmission, these new technologies promise a smoother and fuel-efficient ride without compromising power output.

When needed, the Creta's 60:40 Seat split provides variable cargo capacity for individuals who are always on the move and enjoy an active lifestyle. Exterior features of the Creta include LED Daytime Running Lights and a Rear Combination Lamp, sporty bumpers, 17-inch alloy wheels, a wheelbase of 2610mm, and a ground clearance of 200mm.

The brand-new Hyundai Staria is the ideal vehicle for people in search of VIP-level comfort. It has a bold and futuristic exterior design that incorporates a "Lounge" concept with a lower beltline and a higher vehicle height, giving it an expansive appearance. It provides passengers with ample space and the option to position themselves comfortably to their liking.

The premium model of the 7-seater is equipped with exclusive design elements, smart sliding doors, a smart motorized tailgate, dual sunroofs, and load of active safety measures. Both the 11-seater commuting variant and the 3-seater freight variant have dual swinging doors, making them ideal for businesses in need of dependable transporters.

The most recognizable Hyundai models, the Tucson and Santa Fe, also received design and performance upgrades. The brand-new Tucson is the first SUV to implement the "Sensuous Sportiness" design. It has a commanding presence on the road compared to other SUVs due to its distinct and athletic design, which has a Parametric Jewel Pattern Grille and Unique Side Character Lines. Additionally, the large wheelbase provides additional legroom for a more comfortable ride. When teamed with its excellent engine, Tucson's new shift-by-wire automatic transmission makes for a delightful driving experience.

When compared to other brands' SUV behemoths, the 2019 Santa Fe is a formidable opponent. The vehicle exudes a premium appearance inside and out thanks to design cues and features that appeal to even the most discerning auto enthusiasts. The T-shaped daytime running lights generate a distinctive light signature, while the redesigned cascading grille and front bumper create a wide and imposing appearance. The new Santa Fe has a new Gen 3 modular architecture for enhanced driving performance. It also features a Smartstream 2.2 Diesel engine paired to an 8-speed wet DCT transmission, a first for Hyundai SUVs.

What’s next for Hyundai?
HMPH is implementing aggressive strategies to disrupt the market and grab consumers' attention. A nationwide service campaign and warranty program that aims to highlight the brands enhanced after sales is a significant component of this initiative. To reach more customers, the corporation will increase its dealer network from 38 to 45 by the year 2023.

“Now that we are starting to introduce these models, we will ensure that the brand is accessible to all our customers through the launch of Hyundai Live in September. This is a two-way communication with our customers using the website as our online showroom that will provide information to meet our customers’ needs” added Mr. Lee.

“There are a lot of benefits in joining CAMPI and for us to join them at this opportune time would give us a huge boost. There is so much excitement and interest in what we will do next and we can’t wait to show everyone once again what Hyundai Motor is all about,” added Mr. Lee.

The Palisade and Ioniq 5, the latter of which is a full-fledged electric car, will be added to HMPH's lineup of vehicles in order to broaden the company's offerings. This further demonstrates HMPH's dedication to a diverse vehicle portfolio, one that is not afraid to introduce market-driven innovation.

HMPH is also in the process of switching from the Association of Vehicle Importers and Distributors Inc (AVID) to its rival car group Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines Inc (CAMPI) due to CAMPI's shared vision of collaborating with key stakeholders for the benefit of the entire motoring industry.
