PLDT Home Still the Fastest in PH, Tops Speedtest Award Q1-Q2 2022
Five years in a row, Ookla Speedtest Awards Q1-Q2 have recognized PLDT Home as the Philippines' fastest broadband provider, surpassing all other major internet service providers in the country.
Ookla, a global benchmarking firm, announced that PLDT achieved a speed score of 77.91 and recorded the fastest download and upload speeds, 210.83 Mbps and 234.21 Mbps, respectively.

PLDT Home also clocked the top speeds in 15major areas in the Philippines, besting all other major telco providers. These areas include: Quezon City, Pasig City, Davao City, Cagayan de Oro, Bulacan, Bacolod, Cainta, Baguio City, Pasay City, Iloilo City, Lucena, Malabon City, Valenzuela City, Marikina Cityand Batangas.
PLDT Home also clocked the top speeds in 15major areas in the Philippines, besting all other major telco providers. These areas include: Quezon City, Pasig City, Davao City, Cagayan de Oro, Bulacan, Bacolod, Cainta, Baguio City, Pasay City, Iloilo City, Lucena, Malabon City, Valenzuela City, Marikina Cityand Batangas.
For the top four (4) areas, PLDT achieved the highest download and upload speeds, respectively, at 68.30 Mbps and 70.73 Mbps in Quezon City; 89.57 Mbps and 83.42 Mbps in Bulacan; In Mindanao, PLDT Home recorded 47.64 download and 47.58 upload speeds, respectively, at 79.35 Mbps and 79.10 Mbps in Davao City; and, 84.75 Mbps and 84.56 Mbps in Cagayan De Oro.
