The 8th Philippine International Motor Show is Set for September!

The Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI) announces the return of the Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS), a yearly event that showcases the country's latest vehicles and cutting-edge technologies.

With the theme "Mobility + Humanity: Innovating for the Common Good," PIMS 2022, now in its 8th edition, focuses on bringing innovations that will provide people with safer, more efficient, and more sustainable mobility.

The return of this year's car show after a four-year absence during which the automobile sector has been continually modifying and adapting to consumers' needs due to the epidemic's effects. Throughout the years, CAMPI has remained committed to advancing the automotive industry by collaborating with the government and the private sector to develop policies, programs, and other activities that not only maximize the industry's role in the country's economic growth and development but also provide mobility solutions that cater to Filipinos' ever-evolving needs.

“Despite the challenges, we are positive that the industry is on its way to revival and recovery as evidenced by the double-digit growth in the past month with an 18.4% increase in vehicle sales year-to-date. Currently, we are almost at 57% of our annual industry target,” said Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines Inc. (CAMPI) President Atty. Rommel Gutierrez. In line with our road to recovery, we are happy to bring back the much-awaited Philippine International Motor Show, gathering the industry’s biggest car manufacturers to showcase how the latest vehicles and mobility innovations can drive us towards a better and more sustainable future,” added Atty. Gutierrez.

PIMS brings together 13 of the top automotive brands, including BMW, Foton, Honda, Isuzu, Kia, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Suzuki, and Toyota, as well as Chery, Geely, and Hyundai, to present their latest technologies that will drive the future of mobility.

BPI is the motor show's exclusive auto financing partner and diamond sponsor this year. Foton will provide 3 modernized Jeepneys as shuttles for the 4-day event. Shuttles will run from 10AM to 7PM between World Trade Center and SMX Convention Center.

The motor show will feature exclusive automobile launches, brand booth displays, and daily presentations by the country's top automakers. Guests can also test drive the latest autos from participating brands.

Several car clubs will organize car meets during the motor show. Aftermarket retail booths will provide parts and service appointments. Spectators can also enjoy family-friendly activities at the 8th PIMS.

The 8th PIMS will be held in the World Trade Center in Pasay City from September 15 to 18, 2022. (Thursday to Sunday). Tickets are available for ₱200 each at the venue, with the first 1,000 customers will enjoy a 50% discount on show days. The gates will be open between 10:00 AM and 8:00 PM.
