16 Best Pro Teams Battle For VALORANT Champion 2022

After a year of regional and international events in the VALORANT Champions Tour ("VCT"), 16 of the world's best pro teams are preparing for VALORANT Champions 2022, where only one team will be named VALORANT World Champion.

Asia Pacific ("APAC") will send three representatives to make global history. Paper Rex hopes to repeat their Masters grand final run at Champions 2022. XERXIA, who overcame many obstacles to represent the region, will join them. Boom Esports earned the final APAC LCQ spot.

Riot has organized social content and activities for fans to enjoy on the Road to Champions from late August to early September. APAC Rising: Riot worked with Singaporean beatboxer Dharni to create an APAC Rising anthem. Soon, VALORANT's social networks will include music.

Riot Games will partner with top artists in Singapore, Thailand, and Indonesia to immortalize APAC teams' stories in exclusive murals fans may visit. Riot will work with Singapore's Sam Lo, Thailand's piyasak khiaosa-ard, and Indonesia's ongkogx.

Fans can win signed copies of these artworks by entering a caption contest from August 24 to September 9, 2022. VALORANT's social channels will provide more information on the murals and caption contest.

Riot will produce exclusive APAC Champions merchandise for this year's tournament. Fans in the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, and Malaysia can obtain bespoke snapbacks, t-shirts, lanyards, and mousepads.

XERXIA had a scrim to preparation for VALORANT Champions 2022. Not an average scrim, as XERXIA will take on a collection of all-star influencers in a 5v5 IRL Paintball Competition emulating shoutcasters, coaches, and even strategies. The VALORANT Champions 2022 will be held from August 31 to September 18, 2022 in Istanbul, Turkey.
