HUAWEI Mate 50 Pro Launched, now Available for Pre-Order!

HUAWEI officially launched the latest member of its flagship Mate product line, the HUAWEI Mate 50 Pro to mark the tenth anniversary of the launch of its first Mate smartphones.

The HUAWEI Mate 50 Pro come equipped with a range of cutting-edge technologies, breaking new ground, and expanding the scope of what users can expect from a smart device.

The Mate 50 Pro uses the Clous de Paris step-patterned embossing design, presenting a new form of organized beauty. It comes with two different types of rear cover, glass, and vegan leather. The stylish glass cover comes in Silver and Black. Orange vegan leather is inspired by sunrays.

Huawei's "Kunlun Glass" is made of 10 quadrillion-level nanocrystals strengthened by composite ions, making it more resilient and drop resistant, as certified by Switzerland's SGS. It's the first smartphone to receive this certification. Its also IP68-rated for water resistance up to 6 meters 2, allowing it to tolerate damp and dusty environments.

Huawei launched XMAGE in July 2022 to provide consumers a new shooting paradigm that integrates science, culture, and aesthetics with technology in terms of technologies, image style, and shooting experience.

The HUAWEI Mate 50 Pro has an Ultra Aperture XMAGE Camera with a 10-size adjustable physical aperture. It integrates key innovations in the optical system, mechanical structure, imaging technology, and image processing. Smart aperture adapts to the scene and shooting conditions in Auto mode. You can manually change the depth of field and blur in Professional mode.

Embedded hardware and algorithms improve static image shooting. The Ultra Aperture Camera's F1.4 aperture, XD Fusion Pro picture engine, and high light intake set image brightness, light and shadow details, and cold and warm comparisons to perfection. Night mode shoots photos with clear bright and dark areas, even in low light. Portrait mode blurs the background to make the subject pop. The periscope telephoto camera has a 200x zoom.

The Mate 50 Pro runs EMUI 13, which streamlines daily interactions with one-touch navigation. SuperStorage eliminates duplicates and compresses rarely-used apps. This saves up to 20 GB of space (on a 256 GB phone), allowing more capacity for images and videos. SuperHub allows users to temporarily store and distribute images, documents, and text between apps and devices.

The Mate 50 Pro's cutting-edge innovation increases performance. A revolutionary low-battery Emergency Mode, SuperEnergy Boosting, extends standby time by three hours or 12 minutes. The HUAWEI Mate 50 Pro supports Image Privacy Protection, which erases location and time when you share an image.

The HUAWEI Mate 50 Pro (8GB + 256GB), available in Black and Silver, is open for pre-order for ₱58,999. While the Orange Vegan Leather HUAWEI Mate 50 Pro (8 GB + 512 GB) is available for ₱68,999. It's now available for pre-order through online HUAWEI Stores as well as e-commerce sites Shopee and Lazada, with early birds enjoying free delivery for the duration of the pre-order period. On November 18, offline sales will begin in all HUAWEI Experience Stores and authorized retail outlets.
