With the realme 11 Pro 5G, the brand has improved its design game. The collaboration with former Gucci Prints and Textile Designer Matteo Menoto created a premium vegan leather back that emanates elegance and luxury.
The attention to detail is evident in every stitch and texture, making the device stand out from the rest. The build quality is top-notch, offering durability, and it feels nice with a reassuring heft in the hand and is comfortable to use.
The buttons and connectivity port are easily accessible, while the in-display fingerprint reader works really fast and works everytime.

While the stylish Vegan leather back design is undeniably eye-catching, it seems to have a tendency to attract smudges and dirt. This could potentially lead to a less appealing appearance over time.
Additionally, there's a concern that prolonged use, particularly in challenging conditions or with heavy usage, might result in signs of wear, cracking, or fading. Fortunately, the included transparent protective case is a nice touch. Not only does it safeguard the device, but it also permits appreciation of the back's design.
Display
The realme 11 Pro 5G's 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED Curved Vison display elevates the visual experience. With a pixel resolution of 2412 x 1080 and a pixel density of 394 pixels per inch, this display renders images and content with incredible detail. The AMOLED curved display offers vibrant and sharp visuals from any angle.
The 120Hz refresh rate allows fluid navigation of apps, web pages, and social media feeds. I can't help but appreciate the touch screen's responsiveness, which is up to 1,260Hz. This level of responsiveness makes interactions feel more engaging, especially while playing games or swiping through my favorite apps.
The display's support for HDR10+ and its 10-bit color depth are true visual treats. Watching videos in high dynamic range (HDR) is a delight. The colors are vibrant, and the contrast between light and dark areas adds a new dimension to the content.
It covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, ensuring that photos are displayed with incredible accuracy and vibrancy. Brightness is another strong suit of this display. With a peak brightness of 950 nits, the screen remains easily viewable even in bright outdoor conditions.
One aspect that caught my attention, especially during extended use, is the 2,160Hz PWM dimming. This technology helps regulate the brightness levels and reduces eye strain, making it comfortable to use the device for longer periods.
However, every device has its drawbacks. In this instance, I have observed that the display can be somewhat reflective, making it challenging to use in bright outdoor conditions. While the display's curved edges are visually attractive, they may occasionally lead to accidental touches, particularly when used with one hand.
In addition, although the 2,160Hz PWM dimming is intended to reduce eye strain, I noticed a faint flicker at low luminance levels, which may be bothersome to some users.
Performance
It's powered by the Dimensity 7050 5G chipset, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of ROM. It supports up to 8GB of dynamic RAM, giving it a total of 16GB of RAM for more fluid and speedy multitasking. In terms of storage, it has a 256GB ROM with around 221GB available for the user.
The Realme 11 Pro 5G delivers robust performance across the board. From smooth multitasking to seamless gaming experiences, this device handles it all with ease. In benchmark tests, the device showcased impressive scores, positioning it as a strong contender in its segment.

Dynamic RAM is useful, as switching between apps and games becomes effortless with no visible performance or response loss. This fluid multitasking capability is especially helpful when I need to switch between a messaging app and a game without interrupting my gameplay.
The 256GB of ROM provides ample storage for a vast collection of games, ensuring that I don't have to worry about uninstalling apps to make space for new ones. This also contributes to faster loading times for games and apps, as data retrieval is efficient from the internal storage.
The device showed admirable temperature control during extended gaming sessions. It remained relatively cool, ensuring a comfortable grip and minimizing any potential discomfort.
However, in certain scenarios, such as playing for an extended period of time in a warmer environment, I did notice a slight increase in device temperature. But this did not lead to performance throttling or discomfort, it's something to be aware of during prolonged gaming sessions.
The Realme UI 4.0, based on Android 13, provides a clean and intuitive interface. The user experience is streamlined, offering easy navigation and customization options. Apps launch quickly, and the overall system responsiveness is commendable. The device comes with a lot of pre-installed apps but can easily be uninstalled when not needed.
One of the highlights of the Realme 11 Pro 5G is its camera setup. The 100MP OIS ProLight main camera with an f/1.75 aperture can easily capture stunning detail and vibrant colors in various lighting conditions. The camera app supports extensive modes that are fun and easy to use.

The Portrait Mode worked well in detecting subjects and applying the bokeh effect naturally. Whether it was people, pets, or objects, the camera managed to effectively isolate the subject and create a visually appealing depth effect. In our test, the camera worked best for close-up images that distinguished the subject from the backdrop. Due to its lower resolution, it may not capture huge scenes well.
The video recording capabilities are equally impressive, with features like Dual-view Video, Slow Motion, Starry time-lapse Video, and AI Video Tracking. The 4K/30fps video recording capability ensures high-quality videos and it supports OIS Technology for stable video recording.
While The 16-megapixel selfie camera delivers sharp self-portraits. It supports Portrait Mode, Pano, AI Beauty Mode, and other features that provide ample options to express creatively. The Super Nightscape feature enhances low-light selfies, while AI Scene Recognition optimizes settings for the best results. The front video function supports 1080P/30fps video recording.
In terms of drawbacks, while the camera system is clearly solid, it is noticeable that images captured by the front camera in low-light situations show a bit of noise. Additionally, while the device supports 4K/30fps video recording, users who prioritize high-quality video capture may be disappointed by the lack of higher frame rate options for 4K recording.
While the Portrait camera is excellent for its intended purpose, it's important to note that it might not be as versatile as the 100MP camera in terms of capturing a wide range of scenes. However, both cameras complement each other effectively, catering to different photography needs.
Battery and Charging
The Realme 11 Pro 5G is equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery that can withstand a complete day of intensive use. After putting the device through its paces, the battery life easily sustains a day of constant social media browsing, video streaming, gaming, and shooting. With my usage pattern, the battery lasted approximately 10 to 12 hours on one full charge. This is impressive in light of the device's high-resolution display and powerful hardware, which typically puts a significant drain on the battery.
While the Portrait camera is excellent for its intended purpose, it's important to note that it might not be as versatile as the 100MP camera in terms of capturing a wide range of scenes. However, both cameras complement each other effectively, catering to different photography needs.

This is impressive in light of the device's high-resolution display and powerful hardware, which typically puts a significant drain on the battery.
Its 67W SUPERVOOC Charge technology can quickly recharge the battery from low to almost full capacity. With just around 30 minutes of charging, the battery could be charged up to 70-80%, which is incredibly convenient when you're in a hurry and need to juice up the device before heading out.
To provide a specific time frame, charging the battery from 0% to 100% took approximately 40 to 45 minutes. In terms of safety, the Realme 11 Pro 5G doesn't disappoint with its 38 layers of security protection. This comprehensive security framework ensures that the device's battery and charging processes are safeguarded against potential risks, giving you peace of mind while charging.
