Through its present range of two-wheeler and three-wheeler offerings, the HATASU e-bike aims to lead the way toward a sustainable future, reshaping the riding lifestyle for every Filipino.
The brand held its first HATASU experience recently. During the event, they showcased its model, which is set to launch in November, along with outlining their future plans to venture into the eMotorcycle category by the following year.
“We are truly honored to have received such a warm welcome from our media partners and of course from our Hatasukis (HATASU ebike owners and fans) who gave their trust and support for us to achieve the milestones we have despite being a young brand. We are excited to see HATASU e-bike grow in the local market and we cannot wait to expand our line-up of products to provide the best riding experience for all Filipinos,” says Austine Huang, Chief Marketing Officer.
In less than a year since entering the local market, the brand has already achieved extensive nationwide coverage through robust partnerships with major automotive and technology dealerships. These include but are not limited to, Cellboy, Cell City, EMCOR, Guanzon, Home Along, K-Servico, and others. Currently, HATASU e-bikes are accessible in over 500 authorized dealer stores and have set up nine concept stores across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

Additionally, the brand partners with key financial providers like Aeon Credit Service and Home Credit to offer financial assistance. HATASU is enhancing its After Sales services by offering home service repairs and collaborating with dealers to establish accredited service centers. This comprehensive approach, covering pre-sales to after-sales, has garnered over 10,000 HATASU users in the Philippines to date.
“As the brand builds its presence and influence in the market, we want to make sure that we are with our customers every step of the way. This is why we conduct extensive market research to understand the needs of our customers in order to produce purposeful and quality e-bikes that really meet their needs,” says Jen Cheng, Brand Director.
This people-first approach is what sets HATASU apart from others in the industry. Its local team is heavily involved in the Research and development and Production of its products. While the parts of the e-bikes are being sourced and imported from abroad, HATASU assembles the products locally, giving the brand the leverage to customize the e-bikes depending on the local road situations, pain points, and practical needs of its users.
Hatasu is committed to providing top-quality and accessible e-bikes. It currently offers five models, with another one set to launch in November! Each model caters to diverse needs, and the best part is that it runs on electricity, eliminating the need for gas. Charging is cost-effective, at only as low as P20 per full-cycle charge lasting up to 8 hours.

HATASU's two-wheeler models, KUMI and NERO, serve as ideal riding solutions for students, young professionals, and office workers, offering a hassle-free commute to school or the workplace. These e-bikes are perfect for short-range travel, making errands within the vicinity convenient due to easier maintenance and parking. Additionally, delivery riders seeking a cost-efficient vehicle can utilize KUMI and NERO, equipped with a front basket for package storage.
HATASU's two-wheeler e-bikes cater to singles on the move, while the three-wheelers, the MAKO and MAKO 2, are perfect for families. Ideal for parents fetching kids from school or running errands, the MAKO series ensures versatile weekend enjoyment, be it at the mall, restaurant, or park. Business owners can also benefit from the MAKO series for deliveries, thanks to ample storage and comfortable seating.
