OPPO also announced the establishment of the OPPO AI Center and unveiled the OPPO AI Smartphone White Paper, marking the dawn of a new era where smartphones evolve into AI-powered devices.
At this year's MWC, OPPO has teamed up with Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., and startup AlpsenTek to unveil a new AI Motion algorithm leveraging Hybrid Vision Sensing (HVS) technology. This innovation enhances the clarity of capturing high-speed moving objects in both photography and videography.
Moreover, OPPO is highlighting a variety of products developed in collaboration with partners such as Google, Qualcomm Technologies, and MediaTek. Additionally, OPPO has announced the upcoming ability for OPPO smartphone users to connect their devices to Microsoft Copilot. This reflects OPPO's dedication to exploring advanced technological experiences through partnerships across the industry.
OPPO Air Glass 3 prototype
The OPPO Air Glass 3 prototype is a lightweight and advanced XR device designed for seamless collaboration with smartphones. Weighing just 50 grams, it features a self-developed resin waveguide with a refractive index of 1.70, ensuring a comfortable wearing experience similar to regular glasses.
With access to OPPO AndesGPT through the Air Glass APP, users can activate the AI voice assistant with a light press on the temple. The glasses support touch interaction for various tasks like music playback and calls. Innovations such as reverse sound field technology and four microphones enhance audio quality and privacy protection.
OPPO's commitment to AI is evident through the establishment of the OPPO AI Center, a focal point for R&D in AI. This initiative aims to explore user-centric AI applications, making technology accessible to all.
In line with this vision, OPPO's global offerings, including the Reno11 Series and the OPPO Find N3, will feature generative AI features like the OPPO AI Eraser in Q2 2024. Future plans involve integrating generative AI across more products, ensuring a smart and convenient lifestyle for users worldwide.
