Fujifilm Philippines has officially launched the instax WIDE Evo, a hybrid instant camera that lets you capture wide-angle shots and print them instantly. This new camera is the follow-up to the popular instax mini Evo, but with a wider frame that gives you more space to tell your story in every photo.
To celebrate the launch, Fujifilm hosted an exhibit titled “10:10 – Wider Stories to Tell” at the Glorietta Activity Center in Makati from April 26 to 27, 2025. The exhibit features works by some of the country’s top photographers and includes hands-on experiences, workshops, and more.
A Camera That Makes Every Shot Count
The instax WIDE Evo blends digital features with the charm of instant film. You can preview your shots on its LCD screen before printing or even use it as a smartphone printer. What sets it apart is its creative control: the camera offers 10 lens effects like Magenta and Monochrome, and 10 film styles like Light Leak and Color Gradient. You can combine these to create up to 100 different looks.
For the first time in the instax lineup, there's a “Degree Control” function that lets you fine-tune these effects. You can adjust brightness, color intensity, and other details across 100 levels—perfect for those who want more creative freedom.
The Wide Angle Mode makes it easier to capture big moments—whether it’s a group photo or a scenic landscape. And with Film Style frames, your prints have that extra visual flair. With all the features combined, there are over 100,000 possible photo styles to play with.
The design of the WIDE Evo is also worth mentioning. It has a sleek black body with metallic touches, giving it a premium look. And like classic film cameras, it uses manual controls like dials and a crank to select effects and print photos—adding to the fun.

A Connected Experience

While the Direct Print feature makes that simple. You can also save your WIDE Evo prints to your phone and share them easily on social media.
