This new concept isn’t your typical smartphone. HONOR describes it as “a new species of AI device” that combines multi-modal AI, robotic technology, and advanced imaging. It’s part of the company’s ALPHA PLAN, which focuses on building a global AI device ecosystem and redefining the boundaries of mobile technology.
At first glance, the HONOR ROBOT PHONE looks like something straight out of a sci-fi movie. What really caught everyone’s attention is its hidden gimbal-style camera that seems to rise from the back of the device, almost like it has a mind of its own. The design gives off strong DJI Osmo Pocket 3 vibes, and its expressive, robot-like look even brings to mind Pixar’s Wall-E.
HONOR hasn’t revealed full specs yet, but this short teaser already shows the brand’s bold direction, merging robotics and AI into a handheld device that can think, move, and capture like never before.
More details are expected to be revealed at MWC 2026 in Barcelona, where HONOR is likely to showcase how this “Robot Phone” could change the way we interact with our devices.
HONOR has been steadily pushing innovation in design, AI, and imaging, and the ROBOT PHONE might just be its biggest leap yet. If the teaser is any sign, this could mark the start of a new era where smartphones become more intelligent and a little more human.
Stay tuned for updates when HONOR officially unveils the ROBOT PHONE at MWC 2026.
