GIGABYTE continues to move its AI PC vision forward at CES 2026, introducing a redesigned GiMATE interface and a new lineup of ultra-thin AI gaming laptops. The focus this year is on making AI easier to use, with simpler controls, faster system decisions, and AI tools that fit into daily gaming, work, and creative use.
GIGABYTE’s AI agent GiMATE, brings hardware and software control into one clean interface. The updated design makes system information easier to read and supports voice-driven commands for quick adjustments. Alongside it, AI Power Gear III adds smarter power control, allowing direct MUX switching between Discrete Mode and MSHybrid through GiMATE. Auto Mode disables the GPU when on battery to extend usage time, Optimus Mode balances performance and efficiency, and Eco Mode focuses on extreme power saving on both AC power and battery.
GiMATE also expands its AI tools. GiMATE Creator now supports Qwen-Image, enabling image generation using both English and Chinese prompts. For developers, GiMATE Coder allows natural-language code generation, correction, and optimization, helping beginners get started while speeding up work for experienced users.
Leading the new lineup is the AORUS MASTER 16, GIGABYTE’s flagship AI gaming laptop. It pairs an AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX3D processor with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU inside a slim 19mm chassis that is 17% thinner than before. Powered by NVIDIA Blackwell, the GeForce RTX 50 Series brings strong AI performance, DLSS 4 support, and faster creative workflows with NVIDIA Studio. Cooling is handled by the WINDFORCE Infinity EX system with a vapor chamber and asymmetric Frost Fan.
For creators and mobile users, the GIGABYTE AERO X16 offers a more portable option with AMD Ryzen AI 400 series processors, delivering fast responsiveness, high efficiency, and improved on-device AI performance. Completing the lineup is the GIGABYTE GAMING A18 PRO, featuring a slim 20mm design with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Laptop GPU, built for stable performance across gaming, creative work, and everyday AI use.
With these announcements, GIGABYTE shows a clear direction for its AI PCs, focusing on practical AI features, thinner designs, and a better everyday user experience rather than just higher specs.
