FUJIFILM Philippines is putting the spotlight back on printed memories. At “In Our Film+ Era: An Experiential Pop-Up Event,” held at Open House World in Makati from March 28 to 29, 2026, the brand introduced a more hands-on approach to photography, one that goes beyond simply capturing images on a screen.
The event featured the FUJIFILM instax Mini Evo Cinema and the FUJIFILM instax Mini Link+, two devices designed to encourage a more creative and tangible way of preserving everyday moments.
A Shift Toward More Meaningful Photography
The Film+ Era concept centers on a simple idea: photography should feel more personal. Instead of just taking photos and leaving them in a gallery, FUJIFILM is pushing for moments to be printed, shared, and kept. It’s a shift from passive capturing to something more intentional. During the event, guests were invited to explore how these devices fit into that approach, turning ordinary scenes into physical keepsakes.
instax Mini Evo Cinema Takes a Creative Approach
The instax Mini Evo Cinema stands out as a hybrid instant camera that combines digital flexibility with instant film output. Designed with a vintage-inspired look, the camera features tactile controls that allow users to adjust effects before capturing a shot. The 10 Eras Dial effects offer multiple creative options, allowing users to experiment with different tones and styles to achieve the desired mood.
“Through the instax Mini Evo Cinema and Mini Link+, we want to reimagine how people connect with their memories, not just through images on a screen, but through photographs they can truly hold and share,” says FUJFILM Philippines President Masahiro Uehara. “It reflects our commitment to blending innovation with emotion, empowering a new generation to tell stories that feel more personal, creative, and real.”
instax Mini Link+ Expands Creative Possibilities
Complementing the camera is the instax Mini Link+, a smartphone printer designed to turn digital images into physical prints. The device allows direct printing from a smartphone, along with added features such as augmented reality effects and customizable layouts. It opens up more creative options for users who want to personalize their photos beyond a standard print.

Workshops and Creative Sessions
To further highlight the capabilities of the devices, FUJIFILM organized a series of workshops during the event. Filmmaker Elyandre Dagli led a session on cinematic photography using the instax Mini Evo, while Nica Cosio conducted a workshop focused on journaling and rubber stamp carving, showcasing how the Mini Link+ can be used for creative storytelling.
Additional demonstrations were held by Team INSTAX, along with insights from artists Soleil Ignacio, Bryan Sochayseng, and Jill Arteche, who shared how the devices integrate into their creative work.
Pricing and Availability
The instax Mini Evo Cinema is available for ₱22,599, while the instax Mini Link+ is priced at ₱8,999. Both are now offered through FUJIFILM authorized dealers nationwide.
