Logitech G is pushing the boundaries of competitive gaming hardware with the launch of the Logitech PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE gaming mouse. This new wireless gaming mouse focuses heavily on one thing players don’t usually think about right away, how a click feels and how fast it registers.
Instead of sticking with the usual formula, Logitech is introducing a different approach to clicks, combining inductive analog sensing with real-time haptics. The idea is simple: make every click feel more immediate and more controlled, especially in fast-paced matches where timing matters.
A New Approach to Mouse Clicks
At the center of the PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE is its new SUPERSTRIKE technology. It’s designed to reduce how far you need to press before a click is registered. Logitech says improvements in click delay can reach up to 30 milliseconds based on internal testing. That might sound small on paper, but in actual gameplay, especially in FPS titles it can mean shots registering just a bit quicker.

The mouse also introduces what Logitech calls the Haptic Inductive Trigger System (HITS). Instead of traditional mechanical switches, this system sends tactile feedback right when the click signal hits the PC. In use, that translates to a more instant and defined click feel, rather than the softer or delayed response you might get from older designs.
Built with Esports in Mind
The PRO X2 wasn’t built in isolation. Logitech worked with teams like G2 Esports, Natus Vincere, and Bilibili Gaming during development. That influence shows in how much control the mouse gives you. One standout feature is the ability to choose from 10 different actuation levels. You can adjust how deep you need to press before a click registers, depending on your preference or the type of game you're playing.
All of this can be configured through Logitech G HUB, so adjustments are quick and don’t interrupt your session. The mouse also uses Logitech’s LIGHTSPEED wireless tech, now supporting up to an 8 kHz report rate. In actual use, that means consistent tracking and minimal delay, even without a wired connection.
Tracking That Keeps Up with Fast Movements
Inside, the PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE uses the HERO 2 sensor, which is built for precision and consistency. It supports up to 44,000 DPI, 888 IPS tracking speed, and over 88G acceleration. More importantly, Logitech emphasizes that there’s no smoothing, acceleration, or filtering applied. So movements feel raw and direct, which is exactly what competitive players usually want. In real-world terms, quick flicks feel sharp, and small adjustments don’t get lost or overcorrected.
Lightweight and Made for Long Sessions
The design follows the same direction as the SUPERLIGHT 2, keeping things simple and lightweight. At 61 grams, the PRO X2 is easy to move around, especially during longer matches where heavier mice can start to feel tiring.

Battery life is rated at up to 90 hours, which should be enough for several days of play without needing to recharge. That’s one less thing to worry about during long gaming sessions.
