Battery life has become one of the biggest priorities for smartphone users today, especially for people who constantly game, stream videos, scroll through TikTok, or stay online for work and school. realme seems to be targeting exactly that crowd with its newly teased realme P4 Series.
The brand has officially introduced the upcoming realme P4 Series, marking the first time the company’s P Series lineup will arrive in the Philippines.
Leading the lineup is the realme P4 Power, packed with a massive 10001mAh battery. According to realme, it’s the first smartphone in the country to feature a battery this large. The device also comes with TÜV Rheinland 5-Star Battery Certification and support for 80W fast charging, which should help lessen concerns about charging times despite the huge battery capacity.
realme also added 27W reverse charging support, allowing the phone to work like a power bank for other devices. That could be useful for users carrying wireless earbuds, smartwatches, or even a secondary phone while traveling.
Another highlight is the promise of up to 8 years of guaranteed battery health. That’s something many users will likely appreciate now that more people are holding onto their phones longer before upgrading.
From a practical standpoint, a battery this large could easily appeal to mobile gamers, heavy social media users, riders, and even travelers who spend most of the day away from charging outlets.
The rest of the lineup follows the same battery-focused approach. The realme P4x features an 8000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support, while the realme P4 Lite comes with a 7000mAh battery.
Even the “Lite” variant still carries a battery larger than what most smartphones currently offer in the same segment, which says a lot about what realme is aiming for with the P4 Series. Instead of focusing purely on thinner designs or flashy features, the lineup appears to prioritize dependable all-day, or possibly even multi-day, usage.
As of now, realme has yet to reveal the official local pricing and availability details for the P4 Series in the Philippines. More information about the launch date and pricing is expected to be announced soon.
