Samsung has officially launched the Samsung Galaxy A27 5G in the Philippines, bringing several upgrades over its predecessor, including a smoother AMOLED display, a newer Snapdragon processor, expanded AI features, and longer software support.
The Galaxy A27 5G features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a new Infinity-O punch-hole design, giving users more screen space with slimmer bezels. Despite the larger display, the phone remains slim at 7.8mm, making it comfortable to hold and use throughout the day.
Powering the device is the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 Mobile Platform, paired with faster memory for improved multitasking, smoother gaming, and better overall responsiveness. Samsung says the upgraded GPU also delivers better graphics performance while maintaining power efficiency.
For photography, the Galaxy A27 5G comes with a 12MP front camera that captures brighter images and more natural-looking colors, helping produce better selfies in different lighting conditions.
Samsung also expands its Awesome Intelligence experience with several AI-powered features. Circle to Search with Google now supports searching for multiple objects within a single image and even allows users to virtually try on outfits directly from search results. Object Eraser 3 provides cleaner removal of unwanted objects from photos, while the Voice Recorder app now supports transcription with translation in 22 languages.
The Galaxy A27 5G also supports multiple AI assistants, including Google Gemini, Perplexity, and an upgraded Bixby, which lets users control device settings and features using natural voice commands.
Samsung is also extending software support for the device with up to six generations of Android OS and One UI upgrades, along with six years of security updates. Security is backed by Samsung Knox and Knox Vault, helping protect sensitive data stored on the device.
Price and Availability
The Samsung Galaxy A27 5G will be available in the Philippines starting July 10 through Samsung.com, Samsung Experience Stores, Authorized Stores, and Samsung Flagship Stores on Lazada and Shopee.
It will be offered in Black, Blue, and Light Pink with the following prices:

8GB + 256GB – ₱21,990
Samsung is also offering launch promotions until September 15, 2026, with savings of up to ₱3,639, including a ₱1,500 discount, a free travel adapter, and a free Jisulife fan.
