Samsung has introduced the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and Galaxy Watch9, its latest smartwatches featuring AI-powered health monitoring, improved performance, brighter displays, and longer battery life. Powered by the new Snapdragon Wear Elite Platform, both devices are designed to provide continuous health tracking and personalized wellness insights throughout the day.
The new lineup builds on Samsung’s preventive healthcare vision by using the BioActive Sensor to monitor biometric data and deliver actionable recommendations across sleep, activity, cardiovascular health, recovery, and overall wellness. New AI-powered features include Sleep Apnea monitoring, Vitals, Heart Health Score, Daily Cardio Load, Fitness Index, and Hearing protection.
The Galaxy Watch Ultra2 is built for outdoor adventures and demanding activities. It introduces Trail Run mode with elevation tracking, terrain analysis, and hydration guidance through the new Nutrition Alert feature. The smartwatch also supports diving with automatic tracking of depth, dive time, and water temperature, while an upcoming Ultra2 Diving app developed with Mares will add advanced diving tools. It features an 800mAh battery, a display with up to 5,000 nits of brightness, and a slimmer titanium design despite its larger battery.

Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy Watch9 is designed for everyday wellness with a lightweight aluminum body, improved comfort for all-day wear, and continuous health tracking. Available in 40mm and 44mm sizes, it features displays with up to 3,000 nits of brightness, improved performance through the Snapdragon Wear Elite Platform, and batteries rated at 390mAh and 445mAh, respectively.
Samsung is also introducing new watch bands for different lifestyles, including Marine, PeakForm, and Trail bands for the Galaxy Watch Ultra2, alongside Sports, Misty, and Fabric bands for the Galaxy Watch9.
