HONOR Robot Phone
HONOR has officially launched the HONOR Robot Phone, a flagship smartphone that takes a different approach to mobile photography and video. Its biggest feature is a built-in gimbal camera system that can physically move, rather than relying only on software stabilization.

The Robot Phone combines this camera system with dual 200MP cameras, ARRI cinema technology, AI-powered tracking, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 performance, and a 7,060mAh battery.

A Built-In 4DoF Gimbal Camera System
The main feature of the Robot Phone is HONOR's Titanium Agile Gimbal, a 4DoF mechanical system built directly into the smartphone. The gimbal was developed through 60 manufacturing processes and uses more than 100 precision components. The company also says the system is 65% smaller than mainstream gimbals while offering 200% greater structural strength.

The 2.6g Titanium Gimbal Motor can move at up to 360° per second, while the HONOR Super Steel Flip Motor provides a torque density of 120 N·m/L. More importantly, the camera can physically move while shooting. It supports modes including Tilt Lock, First Person View (FPV), FPV Vertical, and AI SpinShot.

Dual 200MP Cameras with ARRI Cinema Technology
The Robot Phone features a 200MP Agile Gimbal Main Camera with a 1/1.28-inch sensor and f/1.6 aperture. It is paired with a 200MP Periscope Telephoto Camera with a 1/1.4-inch sensor and 2.7x optical zoom. A 50MP Ultra-Wide Camera with a 122° field of view completes the rear camera setup.

HONOR has also partnered with ARRI, the professional cinema camera company, to bring selected elements of ARRI Image Science and cinema workflows to the smartphone.

The main camera supports 10-bit ARRI LogC3 recording in ARRI CINEMA mode. The system also incorporates ARRI Wide Gamut 3 and ARRI Looks, giving creators more control over color and footage during post-production.

HONOR says AI noise reduction improves video SNR by 8 dB, while AI dynamic range optimization supports up to 14 stops of dynamic range. The video pipeline processes image data in the RAW domain using 14-bit 4:4:4 processing, with support for 10-bit LogC3 and 4:2:2 video output. ARRI Looks can also be previewed in real time.

For creators using professional editing tools, footage can be taken into DaVinci Resolve, where ARRI LUTs can be applied during post-production.

AI-Powered Gimbal Tracking
Running on MagicOS, the Robot Phone introduces YOYO Robot Mode, which combines multimodal perception, gesture recognition, contextual understanding, and physical camera movement.

With AI Live-Tracking and Voice Source Localization, the camera can automatically pan and tilt to keep the user in the frame while recording a vlog, livestreaming, or taking part in a video call. It also supports hands-free gesture controls, allowing users to deploy the camera and capture shots without touching the device.

Beyond the camera, YOYO Auto Execution can understand user intent and perform multi-step tasks across supported applications and system settings. HONOR's Agent Skills interface also allows third-party developers to create experiences using the phone's gimbal, perception, and embodied-interaction capabilities.

Flagship Performance and a Large Battery
The Robot Phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform, with a custom cooling system designed to handle demanding workloads and extended recording sessions. It also packs a 7,060mAh Next Gen HONOR Silicon-carbon Battery, supporting 120W wired and 50W wireless HONOR SuperCharge.

The phone features a 6.31-inch LTPO OLED HONOR AI Eye Comfort Display protected by HONOR NanoCrystal Shield. The display supports an adaptive 1–120Hz refresh rate, reaches up to 6,800 nits peak brightness, and uses 4320Hz PWM dimming for eye comfort.

The device also features an all-metal integrated molding unibody, housing the moving camera hardware within the smartphone itself.

HONOR Robot Phone Price
In China, the Robot Phone starts at CNY 9,999, or around ₱90,300–₱90,600 based on direct currency conversion.

    12GB + 512GB: CNY 9,999 — around ₱90,300+
    16GB + 1TB: CNY 12,999 — around ₱117,800+

HONOR has yet to announce the official Philippine price of the HONOR Robot Phone, but the company has confirmed that the phone is coming to the Philippines. The final Philippine price may be higher once local taxes, shipping, and distribution costs are included.

The HONOR Robot Phone stands out mainly because its camera is part of the phone's physical design rather than simply another camera module. The built-in gimbal camera system gives creators a way to capture moving and tracked shots without carrying an additional gimbal, while the ARRI collaboration adds more control for those who take mobile video seriously.
