Insta360 X6 is now officially available in the Philippines, bringing the company’s latest flagship 360 camera to the market. It combines 8K 360 capture, subject tracking, single-lens shooting, and AI-powered editing in a compact camera built for travel, action sports, outdoor adventures, and everyday content creation.
8K 360 Capture with Larger Sensors
The Insta360 X6 features dual Sony 1/1.1-inch square sensors, providing a 1-inch equivalent 360 imaging experience with improved detail and low-light performance. It can record up to native 8K at 50fps, with support for 10-bit color and native in-camera Dolby Vision. The larger sensors should be particularly useful when shooting in difficult lighting conditions, while the 8K resolution gives creators more flexibility when reframing 360 footage.
One Camera, Multiple Shooting Modes
The X6 can be used as a 360 camera, subject-tracking camera, or single-lens action camera. With 360 capture, users can record the entire scene and choose the preferred framing afterward. InstaFrame 2.0 can create flat 4K footage, while single-lens mode provides a more traditional action-camera setup.
The camera comes with a 2600mAh Xtreme Battery that provides up to 140 minutes of 8K30fps 360 recording. Its Star-Ridge cooling system is designed to maintain stable performance during extended 8K recording.
The X6 also has 64GB of built-in storage, with 47GB usable, allowing users to start recording even without a microSD card. It supports more than 100 accessories, making it suitable for activities such as travel, motorcycle riding, cycling, diving, and outdoor sports.
AI-Powered Editing
The X6 introduces Insta360 PanoMind, a 360-native AI model designed to understand the entire spherical scene. Using AI Director, the camera can analyze footage while charging and automatically create highlight edits that can be accessed through the Insta360 app.
Auto Edit 2.0 can also combine one or multiple clips into an edited video, automatically handling framing, camera movement, cuts, music, and transitions. For creators who want more control over their workflow, the X6 supports I-Log, 10-bit recording, Insta360 Studio, and Insta360+ cloud-based editing tools.

Wrapping Up
The X6 brings together high-resolution 360 capture, flexible shooting options, larger sensors, built-in storage, extended recording time, and AI-assisted editing in one camera. Its strongest appeal is the ability to capture first and decide on the framing later, which can be useful for travel, action sports, and situations where setting up a shot is difficult.
