TECNO has officially introduced the CAMON SLIM 5G in the Philippines through “MAKE IT LIGHTER: The Living Cover Runway,” a fashion-led launch that brought together technology, modern Filipina stories, and the smartphone’s ultra-slim design.
Rather than focusing solely on specifications, TECNO used the launch event to highlight 15 Filipino women from different professions, backgrounds, and stages of life. The event centered on the idea of “Make It Lighter,” connecting the phone’s slim form factor with the different ways women navigate work, family, careers, passions, and personal goals.
15 Filipino Women Take the Runway
The Living Cover Runway featured 15 Filipino women from different fields, including celebrities, creators, entrepreneurs, working mothers, businesswomen, and community builders. Each walked the runway with the CAMON SLIM 5G while sharing a glimpse of her personal story and what “making life lighter” means to her.
Among those featured were Ely Halig, Twinkle Dimayuga, Aubrey Miles, Carlyn Ocampo, Fuschia Anne Ravena, Max Collins, and Megan Young. Halig highlighted balancing career, motherhood, and personal passions, while Dimayuga shared her journey as a solo mother and her work with MAMA — Mothers Advocating through Ministry and Action.
Megan Young led the finale, bringing together the event’s message of growth, confidence, and moving beyond a single role or title.
Burgundy Red Sets the Fashion Direction
Burgundy Red, one of the key colors of the CAMON SLIM 5G, became the common visual element across the runway. The 15 looks incorporated the color while taking different approaches to modern Filipiniana. The designs used structured silhouettes, translucent fabrics, fluid draping, pleats, and movement. Instead of presenting identical outfits, the styling was adapted to each woman's story, with details inspired by their careers, passions, family backgrounds, and personal experiences.
TECNO CAMON SLIM 5G Takes Center Stage
The new smartphone features a 6.39mm ultra-slim body while packing a 6,000mAh battery. For imaging, it comes with a 50MP Sony LYTIA 700C main camera, along with Super-Zoom FlashSnap and TECNO Universal Tone imaging technology.
The CAMON SLIM 5G runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7300e 5G with 8GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB storage. Extended RAM can add up to 16GB, for up to 24GB of combined RAM. Despite its slim 6.39mm body, the phone packs a 6,000mAh 5-Year Durability Battery with 45W Super Charge support.
TECNO Teases Angélica Dass Collaboration
TECNO also gave guests a first glimpse at another project involving artist and photographer Angélica Dass. Portraiture formed part of the launch experience, with the collaboration exploring the stories of women beyond the labels typically associated with them.

The Philippine chapter will focus on working women, particularly working solo mothers and the people around them. It will explore diskarte, highlighting the adaptability, resourcefulness, and practical wisdom women use in navigating everyday life. TECNO said more details from the Angélica Dass collaboration will be revealed later in October.
Price and Availability
The TECNO CAMON SLIM 5G comes in Burgundy Red, Matisse Black, and Rebel Pink for the pre-order period. The 3D White variant will be available next month. The 8GB + 256GB version is priced at ₱27,999 and is available through online and offline stores. While the 8GB + 128GB version is priced at ₱24,999 and is available through TikTok Shop only.
