Edifier W800BT Review: Affordable yet Powerful Wireless Headphones
We had the opportunity to test the Edifier W800BT wireless over-ear headphones, and we're pleased to share our hands-on review.

Inside the box, it includes the Edifier W800BT headphones, 3.5mm audio cable for wired use, type-C cable, and the user manual to complete the contents of the package. Unfortunately, no case or pouch is included.
Design
Edifier offers the W800BT headphones in three colors: white, red, and black, the latter of which is the color of our review unit.
The W800BT headphones are made entirely of plastic, yet they have a metallic appearance, which makes them visually appealing headphones. Aside from that, the headphones are fairly sleek, with well-molded satin housings. It feels easy to hold and it's lightweight at only 202g.
It's a lightweight headphone that is easy to forget that you are wearing it around your head, which is nice. The buttons on the cup are responsive, they produce a nice click sound when used and it feels durable. It's also incredibly pleasant to wear because of the softness of the cushion.
On the right side of the earcups is the multi-function button, and the volume controls which is placed on the side for easy access.
This headset has the new TYpe-C port located at the bottom of the right earcups, as well as the audio 3.5mm jack on the left side of the earcups, which is a convenient feature because it is within easy reach.
The W800BT headphones provide exceptional comfort and minimal weight. which makes it an excellent choice for listening to your favorite playlist for extended periods of time.
Sound Quality and Performance
The W800BT headphones can easily be paired with any smartphone, it uses Bluetooth V5.0 for wireless connectivity and it can also be used as wired headphones using the included 3.5 wired audio cable.
We listened to a range of music genres while testing the W800BT headphones, including soft jazz, current songs, soundtracks, mellow music, dance/electronic, and rock. We are happy with the audio quality; it is not the best we have heard, but it is far from the worst.
With its 40mm NdFeB magnetic driver, it produces a large sound field with improved bass and voice notes, resulting in a lively sound. Additionally, it includes Qualcomm aptX technology, which enhances audio clarity and wireless sound quality.
However, if you're seeking for extremely hard kicks and chest-crushing bass, the W800BT is probably not the headsets for you. They do have a strong sound, and the bass is audible but not overpowering.
When it comes to making phone calls or engaging in video conferences, the Qualcomm CVC8.0 reliably recognizes and distinguishes between voices while filtering out background and environmental noise, resulting in more effective communication.
All the earmuffs are made of soft material and provide a secure fit even when used for an extended period of time.
Battery Life
The W800BT headphones is equipped with an 850mAh rechargeable battery, which can deliver up to 50 hours of continuous listening on a single full charge, which is rather Impressive.

When it comes to charging, using the Type-C port and a conventional charger, it takes around 3 hours to fully recharge the battery. Rapid charging is not possible, which is unfortunate since the most current adapters do have this capability.

Conclusion
The Edifier W800BT wireless headset is not the most expensive or most luxurious wireless headset currently available on the market, but it is one of the most reliable options available. Aside from that, they have a pleasing look, and the lightweight construction of the headphones ensures that they are really comfortable to wear. In terms of audio, it produces clean and crisp music as well as crystal-clear voice call quality, and it has a very long battery life, allowing it to be used for extended periods of time.
